Thanks guys for all your support smile.gif

Part 2 of the comparison of KO Dead end and Ori Alt Dead end

The manufacturer of the KO Dead End would like it to be as accurate as ori as much possible.

An example of that can be seen at the tires

Ori to the left, KO to the right. Notice that the threads are ALMOST similar.

Then looking at the foot, both the feet are identical. Even the rims are identical!!!! One thing I noticed is that the tires are marked "Cybertronian Radials" on the ori but "Cybertronian Adials" on the Ko.

At the head area both the heads are the same, with different paint work applied. The screw, joints, indentation of the plastic are all similar.

Both the Dead Ends are tired of robot mode already, so Part 3 will be showing the alt mode.

Part 3 of the Ori Dead End vs. KO Dead End rclxms.gif

Alt mode is where the KO Dead End shines. I feel that if you show both of them together most will like the Ko dead end due to its "flaming" paint job.

Here is the comparison picture of the driver's seat.

The dash, seat and gear knob are identical to each other. However for the KO Dead end the gear knob is located too close to the drivers seat, causing the problem of not being able to lock the torso in robot mode. Part of the transformation is that the seats will fold down to create the upper torso. In the ori, the gear knob is out of the way and the seats fold down fully. For the KO the gear knob is in the way, hence the problem in robot mode.

But the Ori Alt is without defects. The ori's 2 doors can't open fully without detaching the door frame from the front portion because the door almost flushes with the bodywork, thus leaving no room for the inner part of door (where the hinge is) to swing open. Ironically in the KO this problem has been addressed and the door can be easily opened.

A frontal comparison

Other differences are the exhaust ports and the ori has skirting all around the car. The ori also has a different hood with more grilles.

But by showing the rear, both cars are almost similar. Noted differences include the spoilers holders and the rear lights, with the ori having a brighter red rear lights.
