Girls,

How's your view on make-up?

I am in 20s, but I am still reluctant on make-up stuff....
I don't wear make-up to work or outing...
and even on special occasion such as dinners, I wear very light make-up
(limited to light eye-shadow, blusher, lip-gloss)...

few of my friends said that wearing make-up is a way to show your "politeness", no make-up means you do not respect the event...is that true? i have a different view instead....i just don't feel comfortable wearing make-up and i don't think it will "insult" the organiser, will it?

anyway, just need your opinions and views, thanks smile.gif

To put it simply

UGLY ppl put on tons of make up .

Pretty people go with the natural look with slight make up just to make their natural features more outstanding.

not really...make up is to enhance someone's appearance.

at formal events, by putting make up on it shows that you actually took an effort to dress up.

but its all up to self preference. i dont put make up on. rarely.

I don't put make-up most of the time. But on formal occasions where you have to dress up, putting on make-up will be necessary (just don't go for the opera look please XD). It shows that you have the effort to be presentable where everyone is. Dressing for occasions, same goes for make-up. It's not absolutely necessary, but for some events where you are required to look presentable, make-up is needed ^__^

Actually I think what your friend is trying to say is that you should look presentable for the occasion. And no, it won't insult the organizer if you show up bare-faced. But given to any events, I think it would be more nicer to appear more colour-ed up. So just blusher up a bit, charcoal up your eyes and swipe a few daps of lip gloss. That ought to do the trick wink.gif
