The point she posted here is to notice and warn people about stolen item. Not necessarily to get back the item. Hopefully this will close every possibility of the thief to sell the item.
Since you have the cctv footage, you might can ask the police to make an investigation. Go to police station and ask to talk to the Inspector. Tell him you wanna him to investigate the case. The previous police report is just for the sake of report, and they won't do anything about it. They will investigate if you ask the Inspector to investigate it. He/she will instruct their subordinate to investigate.
I didn't do this in my stolen iPhone since I didn't have any video from cctv etc. Good luck
