I can't find any debit card in maybank and cimb bank website, I'm afraid you have to get the card from public bank. The PB visa electron card annual fee is RM 24

http://www.publicbank.com.my/en/en_content...s/visa_elt.html

I dunno about TUNE MONEY, but public bank got many branches around, should be more convenient.

affin bank debit card= linked to savings account. open acc+making card=rm 100.but able to withdraw rm 90 from it if not mistaken, annual fee=rm 20. tune card= annual fee dunno. hope that helps.

If your planning to open a Paypal account to withdraw money you need to get debit/credit card with the visa logo.
For account verification any card with visa or mastercard logo will do.
Probably batter if you get the Public Bank Visa electron card, its already been proven that you can withdraw money using that card but USD$5 will be charge for every withdraw. You can apply for the card online on their website.
NexG Card can't be use to withdraw money from Paypal.

Well if you mind searching "malaysia credit card" in google
You'll get a website called moneysection.com
There you can get a list of malaysian credit cards for comparison.
Tell me what you think?

I know nothing about CCs and I'm just trying to venture into business deals. And they say you can get chargebacks through CC which is one of the main reason why I looked up into them.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but I need to know.

I'm hoping to open a Paypal account using a debit card because I want to be able to withdraw money out of Paypal into my bank account, and I heard the Public Bank debit card can do it. Can I ask has anyone used this successfully? Can input funds into Paypal and withdraw out?

Anyone else has tried and is successful with other debit cards besides Public Bank?

But can't be used to verify PayPal, there are a few ppl that try before but failed.

As for PB debit card, it can be used to input money, any Visa/Master Card Credit Card can do so but not all Debit Card can.
As for withdrawal, I never tried myself but I remember reading somewhere on a blog where they manage to withdraw from PB debit card successfully.

Yes, Public Bank Debit card so far is the only card with highest success rate in withdrawing money from Paypal to your bank account.

If you were to use your credit card, the fee will not be just usd$5 while withdrawing your money.

So we have no choice, but to use only DEBIT CARD. The rest of the banks' card success rate not very stable, but i would say go for PB debit card.

You have to add the debit card to your Paypal account, and when you want to withdraw, just click on withdrawal, your Paypal account balance will be withdraw into your debit card. Then you use the debit card to cash out money from local ATM machine.

However, it will takes between 5-7 days in order for the money to get transfered from your Paypal account to your debit card.

PB debit card is the best, the rest of the debit card sometimes 2 weeks also money not in yet.

You can go and google some info about withdrawing Paypal in malaysia. Then a lot of reviews and success stories there as well.

really dont know whats wrong. or should i apply new account?
PB is good, isnt it? how's the requirement to apply the account?

Hi, I'm new here and need help.I'm using Tune Money to verify my Paypal and get this message.
"This credit card has been denied by the bank that issued your credit card. For details on why your card was denied, please contact your credit card issuer's customer service department. Or, you may want to try adding a different credit card"

Anyone know about this?

thanks.

Only VISA debit card allow Pay Pal fund to be transfered. You do not need both Al Rajhi or Public Bank Visa Debit Card. You just need Public Bank Visa Debit Card.(M not sure whether Al Rajhi debit card is Mastercard or VISA and if it is VISA,you got to reconfirm that it allows online transaction, pls reconfirm with bank but I am very certain that PB allow Pay Pal verification and also transfer fund to the VISA debit card issued by PUBLIC BANK) Each transaction is subject to USD5 n max USD500 per transaction.Well, I suggest that if you have lot's of fund in Pay Pal then u make the transfer otherwise not worth it. Make yr own calculation.

Lastly, if you have debit card why do u need to buy fund from anyone. You can use debit card to make payment whatever you purchase online that uses pay pal as long as your debit card has sufficient fund otherwise just go to the bank to top it up. And you can use your credit card to make payment too if you have.

Better use PB debit card. So far has higher rate of withdrawing funds from paypal. If you withdraw from credit card it is treated as cash advance meaning you still need to pay your credit card for borrowing it plus the high withdrawal fee and interest if you pay late unsure.gif

No. There's a withdrawal fee of $5.00 USD per transaction. I'm jsut saying if you use credit card you need to pay back to the credit card company what you withdrawal plus the transaction fee they charge. Also when you use credit card you have to pay what you use and there is also interest charges too.

Anyway, here's some of the info I got from paypal website which you can take your time to read later.

--------->
PAYPAL

You can withdraw funds from your PayPal account to any credit, debit, or prepaid card with a Visa logo.

Funds Availability
PayPal completes this transfer in 5-7 days, but your card issuer’s policies may affect the processing time.

Withdrawal Limits

There is a minimum and maximum amount that you can withdraw to your card.

Minimum withdrawal amount
$10.00 USD

Maximum withdrawal amount

Limited $500.00 USD per day(Personal account)
Unlimited (Premier/ Business Account)

Withdrawal Fee/ Return Fee
$5.00 USD/ $10.00 USD

Note: If you are withdrawing to a prepaid card, the amount that you can withdraw might be different from your PayPal account withdrawal limit.

Fees

PayPal charges a fee for withdrawals to your card. Currency conversion fees may also apply. If the information in your withdrawal request is incomplete or incorrect, PayPal will charge a return fee.

You can verify your paypal with any credit/debit card.

You can also withdraw paypal funds with any credit cards but certain debit card only. But to withdraw money out from your credit card, the fees is a killer, so nobody want to do that.

If you have a US bank account (Citibank) or Singapore bank account (must open in Singapore), you also can transfer your funds over to your account.

I am using Tune Money to transfer my Paypal funds with no problem. High recommended.

i am using Al-Rajhi debit card to withdraw money from Paypal - no problem. Easy and cheap to get, just open a saving account and you get your Visa debit card immediately

Only question I have is, I am a Premier member but I can only withdraw maximum USD$500 not unlimited as claim by the post above. How to increase that limit?
