i have 2 dilemma now...

1) sell off my 661 and get 663

or

2) sell my 'ol Samsung 32incher and get this hd65 from htkaki..

u advise me...

to be frank, sell the sammy and get the HD65

i dun think ur 663 gonna sounds much different from ur 661, but i can assure u, the HD65 and sammy gonna make a hell ot of difference

im thinkin that way too... but i dont know who in this world wanna buy my sammy lah.. outside new can get 2100-2200.. when time i bought is 4700.. maybe just put it at my dapur... haha..

IMO, u cant replace ur tv wif a projector as astro or free tv sucks in de big screen .. I still watch tv programs on my trusty 34in crt..

For dvds .. well tats a different story la..

ya, even astro display on my sammy 32 incher looks crap.

my main tv which is in my living hall is crt. all astro there...

projector is in my HT room still under construction! trying to get the acoustics right... quite humming i got, and the doors keep rattling like rattlesnake when a heavy LFE is being played.

I bet it is headache for you. At first, I was afraid that my room will vibrate too. Luckily, after installing my setup, it didnt. Soundproofing also fare rather well too

yeah, a lots of headache...

for temporary i put a lot of pillows and thick carpet and thick velvet curtain.. helps a lot!

for proper acoustics consultation will cost me a bomb.

now im trying to look for any foam/sponge (2ftx2ft) so i could wrap it with some nice cloth and mount it on my walls.. got one sponge factory in my area but they are so cocky didnt want to sell their sponge. they said its for sofa.. aiyoh.

hehe, my ht room is quite small 8ftx 15ft. so the rattling is obvious..
