As if no one in China is not aware of him. Jeez. For sake of more publicity, you think he'd jump down from that height? Last time went to his concert in Genting, he also told the security guards not to push away some of the girls trying to pass flowers to him, saying "it's ok, it's ok"

But the male fan shuang le. Now known to everyone as 'the one saved by Andy Lau'. Hahaha

Added on January 18, 2008, 7:32 amNope. I listened to the clip using headphone. He sang a line after receiving the flowers, then shouted 'ting shau' or something. The male sound you heard is the backup singer. Andy Lau's voice is deeper than the backup singer's voice.

I doubt it's scripted as to what Andy did but I'm sure the certain media will exploit his action and make it sound like its another plotted marketing strategy to pull in more fans and make him more favorable. I noticed that he wanted to jump off from the edge much earlier than he actually did but it was too far for him, therefore he went to the the next pavement to make the jump. With that much (I know people are countable noun but in this case, I'm sure his fans on that day were just uncountable)fans and I'm sure he is exhausted after all his performance, he was still able to rationalize out the right decision to defend his fan from being beaten up for no apparent reason.

All security in concerts are the same... overzealous and they take their job seriously, if anything happens... they are the first to be blamed. Draging the fan away is fine but punching him is uncalled for.

Security officer must have their responsibility to protect Andy but dont kick or punch la... Pity the fan... I was Andy Lau's Secuity Officer last 2 years when he came malaysia for a tour for his new movie All About Love in times square KL... He quite nice to fans... so far nothing happen..

he is well known as Mr.Workaholic and Mr. Nice Guy...
that's why he still that influential artist/ singer in chinese industry.

Hahahaha, so far the Malaysian securities are ok - as in they don't hurt the fans but they can get a bit rough, especially if they're non-chinese guards. Maybe they don't understand the language that the fans used to talk to the stars, so they can get a bit uh... pushy. I guess chinese guards are more used to escorting the HK stars.

However, it's a big big difference in China. Those security guards are very very rough, like samseng. You definitely won't want to be punched by a guard from China. Hahahha

LeonTan, do you happen to know someone by the name Lum/Lam Sir? Hahaha, just let me know if you know/heard of it. Funny guy la him.

Reports are flying in saying the fan that shook hands with Andy had a gun in his pocket. It was all planned. Andy jumped from the stage because he was so furious he did get to fight with the fan one-on-one. Notice how security whisks away the fan. Andy follows...

What happens next is atrocious... I will not say anything.
