I heard BoA is popular only OUTSIDE Japan and Korea while their people opted for someone else, is it? I've browsed many Jpop websites and forums and from I can see, US is the biggest fan of BoA, while Utada Hikaru was the one triggered the Jpop craze there. I've several friends in Japan and they said BoA is less popular there.

BoA lovers, don't flame me. I also listen to BoA and many others like KodaKumi, OtsukaAi, YUI, Ayumi, and also not-so-popular-in-here like AngelaAki, Arashi, EXILE, YunaIto etc.. This is only my observation and opinion.
