okie cool.. I got the wish album havenet listen to it yet..hopefully will be good.. any other recommendations?? Last time i got this singer Tomiko Van which I think is quite good but then not sure if she is the singer that will last long or come out 1 or 2 album then dissapear..so didnt follow up..i like 2 be loyal to a singer/band so can always follow their songs..if just come out 1 or 2 albums then hilang very irritating..

Yuna Ito is good, she can sing and she has good vocals.
I am a super huge Ayu fan but her voice is as not as good as Yuna's.
However in terms of music-wise, Ayu still rules.
Wish is not bad, you'll love it.
You could try her other songs like : Endless Story

I love Mr.Children. Their songs are good.

I listen to Yuna Ito but not a huge fan of her. I prefer Ayu's songs because sometimes Yuna's for some reason.
Maybe Ayu's song has more emotion and feel to it. This is my personal opinion.

Van Tomiko is back to Do As Infinity She didn't dissapear.

oic..haha..so Do as infinity is back again?? the last time i read the jpop news is that they disbanded or something like that.. so do as infinity got new album? latest album is wat??I mean albumnot single cuz i really dun like single la...so few songs potong stim.. i quite like do as infinity also..the song is nice...can compare with ayu...

Not all mainstream ballad.
I guess under my recommendation only Kobukuro is pretty much most songs ballad but not all. alan is also pretty much mainstream ballad but she haven't release any album yet.

There's ought to be some more poppish or rockish or RnB-ish songs in their albums for variety sake. Unless you download those best ballad albums.

Kobukuro are good.
If you don't like Yuna Ito's RnB thing then I think you should check out Chihiro Onitsuka. She sings mostly ballads and a few were big hits. She definitely has one of the best voice out there.
Since you mention Van Tomiko, check out her first album, Farewell. Its mostly soft tunes. They're so soft and slow it will put you to sleep.

Oh there's this guy who sings A LOT of ballads, his voice pretty unique in a way for a guy, Hideaki Tokunaga.
Oda Kazumasa too another balladish singer.

Tejima Aoi also ballad singer? I am not sure, I need to listen to her songs first. So far listened one album only, the other collecting cyber dust in my HDD.

Perhaps you will like a female singer call Abe Fuyumi (阿部芙蓉美). Her voice is very soul calming, and sometime i think lah a bit sleepy . You got to try it! My top recommendation: Ake Hanatsu Mado ~piano version~ (開け放つ窓 ～piano version). Try find it on the net, if can't find, pm me.

ohh..cant wait for the new solo album..hope it doesnt dissapoint..i have tried many many singers but none of them seems to stick around for my taste..maybe im not into j music stuff..the only one i stick with is ayumi..some i check on them once in a while like high and mighty color and rurutia..
