Where can I download older sony official firmware for the psp-2000(japanese unit)? It seems that google returns the result of custom firmware more than the official ones. Also, I cannot use the US eboot.pbp with the japanese unit right?

QUOTE(kakarocht @ Mar 11 2008, 10:03 PM) i've bought psp slim about 2 weeks ago. How to know whether the psp is the asian region or europe region? The firmware version is 3.71 m33-2. Is this firmware considered new? Should i upgrade to the latest firmware or just leave it only? Btw, when i try to upload some movies inside the psp folder (movie) in Avi format y it can't read? Is it bcos of the file format problem? sorry cos noobs about psp. thanks alot. Check the bottom of ur psp. There should be a sticker sticked at the bottom with some numbers. If the number at the end is 2000 then it is japan region and if 2006 then it is asian region(singapore). For other number 200x check the earlier page on this thread. Regarding ur firmware, just update to 3.71 m33-4 for the time being if u don't wish to use skype. |

If not then it has defect!Added on October 15, 2008, 4:46 pm QUOTE(CHAOSINGQI @ Oct 13 2008, 06:17 PM) Hi all, Sounds like a classic case of fake memory stick corruption, hah!I am using PSP phat version, when he plug in his psp to PC, the ISO and ohters folder name become funny funny character and can not access it, error msg" no permission to access it" And the antivirus detect few viruses. How to fix it? Is it format the memory? it will create the folder by itself? Can I upgraded my phat PSP ? can I directly download latest version and upgrade the firmware? thanks This post has been edited by LYNsucks: Oct 15 2008, 04:46 PM |
