as upscaling DVD player ok la.. hehe!

remember to budget money to buy HD-DVD discs...

I don't mind price war with blu-rays, get get more BOGO titles again then.. hehe!

anyway, with more HD-DVD standalone players sold before christmas period compared to Blu-ray standalone players (red boys say don't count PS3 sales mah) and still lose to blu-ray movie sales every week in 2007, makes one wonder, if many of these cheapo HD-DVD player owners actually afford to buy HD-dvd discs or not?

err.. I tot if send out by player via bitstream means not yet decode internally? after decode (in player) become LPCM mah..

don't worry, HD-dvd fellas buy the low cost players for DVD upscaling only, no need to decode HD audio wan..

just get BD la.. no need prediction... build your software collection with the right format.. in the long run, supporting the wrong format will be more costly (due to buying the obsoleted original priced discs) than just tempted to getting a cheapest HD player..

maybe that's why it's cheap... stock clearance? hehe!

sure boh, you mean the other studios releasing 500titles on bluray now don't produce even a single good movie?

oh...that's so 2006..

at 1.2k a PS3 is already affordable bluray player (even though it's still twice the HD-dvd player price)...
if people can't see that 1.2k is affordable, then rm70-90 HD-dvds is not the right choice for them anyway, what's the point of cheap player when can't afford to buy movies? better spend more time on MKV downloads...

at the end of the day, for me, it's buying the right format of software and expand from there, why pay for discs in the soon to be dying format....

wah now I know why RX want to buy HD-dvd player...

the retail selection of HD-DVDs in KL also like mati already (not dat I bought any at cut throat pricing)... few months ago in shops like rock corner / speedy got 10-25 titles on the shelf.. now it's like 20-30 titles for blurays and 3-5titles for HD-DVD (like clearance stocks).. haha!

those arent exactly 2008 hd-dvd releases...

issit? when HD-dvd around, I tot some people still went ahead to buy HD-dvds instead of spending money to buy totally Blu-ray products n their bogos..

I use PS3 personally never had any compatibility issue so far wor, all my discs works as advertised (at least for the movie stored in the disc and it's accompanying audio soundtracks)..
as for blu-ray players being more expensive? IMHO, if you can't afford those blu-ray players then even buying ori hd-dvds or blurays would also be a expensive proposition, why bother with ori HD in the 1st place?, I mean the diff between a 199 HD-dvd player and 299 bluray player is only around 5-7 ori discs.. if cannot pay for 5-7ori discs then liddat better stick to normal unker ho dvds..

get XA2 better..

err.. hello?? sony made1080p CRT before being phased out.. what you mean limited to 480 lines..??

even pariah ones can do 600+lines with PAL rez..
