Well if you want to argue based on talent or potential then surely Syesha should have that one over Brooke. Brooke has been getting on my nerves tbh. She's constantly whining and she hasn't been singing well for the past 3(?) weeks.

QUOTE(BurgaFlippinMan @ Apr 23 2008, 05:53 PM) the Archie kid has a good voice, but he imbues his (almost always slow) numbers with very predictable lilts and I think he usually overdoes it...anyone else think so? I don't think he overdoes it. But I agree that he's being too predictable with his style. Where is the guy that sang John Mayer in the first auditions? He does have a good voice and he does have a natural feel for songs though.Brooke and Jason had horror shows. Jason was worse for me. Syesha and Carly were my favourites this week (maybe theatrical songs suit them?) |

^ Don't think it would have worked if he did that
At least he showed a different side and that he has the vocal prowess to pull off such a song. I was quite impressed to say the least. |

Why is Jason Castro still in? He had 2 bad performances and he just seems disinterested.

David A is finally back. You can call me a sap but I thought his rendition of Love Me Tender was amazing.
And I'm rooting for Syesha as well (hope American makes the right decision this time ard)..she's improved leaps and bounds |

QUOTE(kobe8byrant @ May 15 2008, 08:54 AM) The judges were very harsh on Syesha if you asked me and for Cook's I Don't Want to Miss A Thing, I thought the electric guitar ruined the moment but Paula was on her feet, so what do I know? I got the same vibe. It's why I'm getting annoyed with the show. The judges this season seem more interested in pimping their favourites than actually listening and judging properly. |

^ Hmm...judging from your post...I really do wonder who's the one in need of a communication course
Anyway let's leave the insults elsewhere boys. I'm happy Cook got it in the end. Over the course of the show he deserves it. And a nice kick up the judges' ass for once. This post has been edited by verx: May 22 2008, 08:08 PM |
