yesterday i went to the pet shop and asked about the puppy fence.. here they sell the black one about RM14 per piece... the chrome one RM17 per piece.. aiyoo.. then i saw 3'Lx2'Wx5'H cage.. price only RM340.. cheap compare to other shop. can buy for my new bunnies laaaa...if i buy, i'll uplod the pic here..

i bathed Nino two weeks once.. means twice a month after brought him for jogging. i used kitten's shampoo and sprayed him with Frontline 1 hour before bathing. But i bathed him after he was 7 months old. My vet adviced me not to bath young bunny..

Nino also ignored other pellets, but he loved Briter Bunny. Maybe u can varies their food by feeding hay.. Rabbit loves hay too.. gud luck..!



Beh, I also watched u on tv.. I set my alarm so i didnt miss that show. Beh, u looked great la on tv.. Watching ur rabbitry makes me wanna work in ur farm for free laaa... If i'm staying near to ur farm, i sure will go there every weekend after work ;p . Can aaa Beh?

wchui let me adopt the kits n the dad .. my bf was very hepi when see the dad.. said it's looks like our nino when nino was teenage

i tried to snap some photos when we arrived home (safe n sound! ) 4am in the morning, but the kits was very bz exploring the new house.. so cant see them in the perfect angle.. but i took the dad's pics... will upload them when i'm free..

i hv to separate the dad.. he keeps harrassing the kits (try to mate with the kits LOL)

wchui, dun be so sad.. i promise i'll take a gud care of them..

Added on March 11, 2008, 12:47 pmI"m so wori la... Micky is a bit slow and quiet this morning. When i took them out to clean the cage and put them in the playpen, she just ran to one corner and lying there. Differents from Mocha. Mocha seemed enjoy exploring the space. But yesterday, bith of them looked ok and active..

Is she in stress? Or is she sick? I checked the whole body, Cudnt find anything weird, except her stomach felt like she was bloated (when i compared it to Mocha). I called the vet aredi. The vet said, rabbit can also get bloated like other animals.. Will bring them for check up today, after work. Just wanna let the vet see them. Hope she's fine..

Will let u guys know her progress..

i only feed them with Briter Bunny pellet and small cut f carrot.. but since the last 2 days, they eat unstop.. mayb that caused her bloated..

i went home during lunchtime just know, she's ok.. sniffing at my things and running here and there..

Added on March 12, 2008, 9:50 amyesterday i went to vet aredi..the vet gave medicine to heal the bloated stomach.. now Micky is ok aredi.. and not so bloated.. the vet said i might have overfeed them... like i said before, they eat non-stop

What is the best bedding for rabbit?
I never use the wood shaving. I read somewhere that the woodshaving is harmful for the rabbits respiratory.. I only use the newspaper layer on the plastic-base littertray with grill on top and change it every day n nite..

Beh, make sure u can deliver them to whole Malaysia k.. My rabbits in Penang also want..!

I found mites on my 11weeks old Micky's skin.. and fleas too.. I googled and found that Frontline is toxid for rabbits, especially the for the kits.

But it was very effective to my 2years++ old Nino. He got fleas on his mane (but no mites) bcoz i brought him to the park every weekend (except raining season).. So i had to bath him at least every two weeks. And sprayed the Frontline every two months. An hour before bath, i wud cover the ears and the head part with hard board (he looked like a lamp shed! Heh ..), sprayed the Frontline from backward and let it dried itself before bathed him with 2 pails of warm water. I used cat's syampoo to remove the chemical of the Frontline. We enjoyed our moment together. He licked my face thoroughly when i rubbed him with towel. I used 2 dry towels to dry his body. The tail part was very hard to dry. I had to trim some of the tail fur. After half-an-hours blowed with hair dryer, he smelled good, looked handsome and kissable. But Nino was 1years++ old when i started using Frontline to treat his fleas problem.

For 11weeks old Micky, i called my vet to confirm. My vet said, it will harm her, since she is too young to get mites/fleas. But i can use the Frontline mildly by spray on my hand and touch the mites/fleas part (skin) but i have to make sure i dont touch the ears, head and her legs. And i must prevent her to lick her fur. Tough job! So i need an advice. Have u guys treat ur rabbit mites/fleas before? What product did u guys use and how to apply it..? Or do we have any traditional way to solve this problem?

Saying about traditional way... a fren told me that black coffee powder (kopi kampung) can treat wound on small animal. Just patch the powder on the wound. It will dry the wound and fasten the healing process.. Not sure about this, but her mother has been use this method to treat her 4 rabbits when they get cuts or wounded.

Errr.. do u guys think we shud vaccin our hunny bunnies?

Added on March 17, 2008, 1:25 pmi dun like the bottle.. i prefer the rabbits drinking bottle.. if u buy this, u still need to change the mineral bottle.. the mineral bottle is made from plaster grade 1 (check at the bottom part and u'll find the number.. not good.. can lead to plastic toxin just like human.. dont recycle this bottle please..find a gud bottle with grade 3 and above..

waaaa.. bebee.. 16 bunnies? how u take care all of them? they dun fight each other when they grow bigger? even i have 3 bunnies now, i have to separate the dad and his two kits.. the kits are 1 male, and 1 female..so maybe by next month, i have to separate them too..

So by next month, i'm going to have 3 cage and separate playpen for them.. I cudnt imagine how people can take care more than that ... but hope i can add 1 HL and 1 JW soon..
