Ala.... in apartment je...

Wait till you have to chase a bunny who has an entire garden to run around... or hide in burrows... under the hot sun.

That is real exercise.

Hello everyone...
i got problem here...
my HL rabbit is diarrhea and i donno why..
he eats onlye pallet and hay and clean water..
but i donno y he stil get diarrhea..
i already bring him to vet...
i dont think he can last any longer..
*
Hi..are u sure its diarrhea? don't get confuse with the soft stool as happen to me on the first few days after i bought Luli (my bunny)..diarrhea is something that is watery (like when human get diarrhea) and without any forms...if still have form its consider soft stool (normally it look like grapes)...based on my experience and as told by vet, u need to check their ears..are they cold or warm...if its warm then the rabbit is still in good condition...diarrhea can caused by stress or if your rabbit still young then they must have lick or drink their own pee...diarrhea very dangerous to bunny...hope ur bunny will be okay soon...

i can still remember when i found out that Luli's poo poo very soft and i thought its diarrhea...actually its soft stool.. laugh.gif
during that time when vet told me if the rabbit's ears is cold then he cant last any longer..i start crying again n again...very scared to lost him... sad.gif

yeah it's their nature to love to dig (not my bambi though, she seems quite lazy in terms of digging, never see her dig before tongue.gif). so it'll be good if you can provide like a box of shreded paper or newspaper to let Luli dig.

wahhhh...that a very nice idea...never thought about it before.. rclxms.gif will bring back the shredded paper from office today... rclxm9.gif i can't imagine how will Luli will look like after digging inside the shredded paper...he always look very 'comot' after eating hay..a lot of hay stick to his hair and he looks like pakcik tua with janggut... drool.gif hehehe

yea mine did that too when i gave them a box of hay to dig in.. i think the hay reminded them of their litter box, cos they have hay in their litter box too. and when i swapped the hay with shredded paper, they still peed in the box.

maybe you can give luli the box to dig in, once he's done for the day, put the box away until the next digging session smile.gif
*
hahaha..they all have same behavior...my Luli pee inside the box during the digging session...i noticed his behavior like he want to pee so i picked him up and put on the litter box...on the spot he ran away and continued digging..so i assume he don't want to pee...finish digging i noticed the box already wet...very notty rclxub.gif need to get the new shredded paper tomorrow...hehehe brows.gif

oh right..more questions..

1. when can I know what is my rabbit sex?(how old)

2. are there any easy way to find out it's sex without the need to put them on their back?
*
hahaha..based on my experience..i have male rabbit..when he is around 2 1/2 to 3 month you can see their testis..actually you can also detect it around 1-2 month also but its not so obvious...the testis will become bigger when the age increase..as for female i think if you cant see the testis then you can predict right..anybody please correct me if I'm wrong....

is there any age advisable for a rabbit to get spaying? or if the rabbit too young is not good to get spaying?
