Davidchin, Looks like your problem is more on your clutch pressure plate than anywhere else. If your pump fails, it usually fails all the way and you would have to tow your car back from Genting. If it jams on the way up, this usually shows signs of clutch plate failure. In your case, there is nothing much can be fixed except to change to a better clutch pressure plate. The springs are not pulling your pressure plate off the clutch disc. Inspecting the clutch plate would mean taking out gearbox to view it. DId your mechanic do that? It's not an easy job and not likely to be free.

QUOTE(scorgio @ Jan 10 2008, 12:10 PM) SGTI using clutch pedal cable or not? If yes, check that as well. sgti using clutch pump QUOTE(scorgio @ Jan 10 2008, 03:11 PM) Standard clutch replacement kit only comes with flywheel & clutch plate only. Some would include oil seals, some don't. remmeber to change the bearing as well.. jz a suggestion... try flush and bleed ur clutch fluid first.... jammed as in cannot engage in any gears??... if the theory behind clutch fluid is same with brake fluid, i guess should be ur clutch fluid problem.... there is abit of air bubble trapped inside.... when u heats up the fluid, the tiny air bubble expands.... when clutch pump compresses the fluid, it compresses the air instead of directing the pressure to ur clutch... hence, disallowing u to engage in any gears.....
