no lah its an official Sepang Drag Battle...Gen2 will run in Category G (Campro Engine)

for Campro got 2 class...Campro NA and Campro Open...

how much to mod? haha depends la...if want fully powerful machine u could fork out up until 10k...but dont be surprised if ur 10k modded cars doesnt get any place at podium...it all depends on the tuner...

anyway u sure wanna mod to drag car? not scared ur crankshaft broken? heheheh

campro NA means Normal Aspirated engine without Forced Iduction / Bolt On Turbo / NOS / Supercharge etc up until 1601CC...





the crankshaft broken issue has been going on for a while n it used to haunt all campro modders especially those highly involved in drag race...but since a year ago it has been proven that the engine with mild modification and used for normal driving also suffered from this case so it came to the conclusion of defective material used to build the crankshaft or maybe some technical issues during its manufacturing...anyway if u want to read more please view here:

just a piece of advice from me...if u wanna mod ur campro...please identify what really want...a powerful car for drag purposes or just a boost up performance for u to enjoy ur daily driving ur campro...dont simply waste ur money on unneeded stuff n dont listen to 'oldtimer' n simply do what they suggest without having a proper knowledge on the mods...

throw away the filter...underneath the copilot dashboard if u 'raba' u can feel the latch bla bla bla...

open it n pull down the filter...

if ur gen2 use a 'sanden' type can be cleaned...if use 'patco' cannot la...

anyway if u throw away ur filter oso ok no problem...aircond more powerful...but if u wash ur car once in 2 months then better put la the filter or not ur interior berabuk...if every week wash then no problem...

go help urself find it n open it n see urself lor...

rather than spending 1.6k on a road driven car just to improve the performance, there's a better way to utilize that same amount with better performance upgrade..ljust my 2 cents...

PS: my drag machine didnt have any piggyback or afc neo or e manage bla bla bla...ahahahhaha

k&n price range around RM250-RM290...

if u want better performance, go for pipercross...a sponge based filter...RM250...performance better than k&n...lifespan if k&n can last up to 100000km, same with pipercross...but after ur 3rd wash roughly around 60000-80000km the material would start to fall apart a bit...

for plugs, i use Autolite double platinum...if u want better of course Denso Iridium IT20 is among the best...dont make a simple assumption like 'of course la bosch because its a bosch...'...ridiculous la...among the iridium line (denso vs volker) denso is obviously better...why? because eventho volker the spark is higher, the tip is too thin...it can breaks easily n caused ur plug to spoilt...

so for peace of mind, just get denso it20...if for budget use, autolite double platinum is good enuff...

i never use a denso but i know from experience after playing with campro for a while...

i work at proton holdings not proton parts center...the place they assemble the car and pass it down to proton edar for sales...

so there is no way for me to know the price except i have link with vendors which i dont have...XD

of course change filter can improve...this is because the filtration is better so more air comes in for ur engine combustion...more air means better combustion n less fuel being wasted...

my car is original MME...so i've never used other bodykit except what is being given to me...the original R3 Bodykits(side skirt, rear apron, spoiler) except the front bumper i change to standard with rs lips...thats all...

gold rim pon tak pernah pakai...a dark bronze rim maybe but only for a while...
