Well, if u insist...
Actually the facelifted Gen2 looks nice IMHO~
The body kit doesn't fit the Gen2..u need to change lots of stuff especially the lights so that they match~

Hi all, i am considering to buy a Gen2,  what are the different btw CPS and IAFM? The listed price are 60k and 56k, possible to ask for discount from Proton?  Is proton car still trustable now? FC how? i need advice
*
Well, buying the Gen2 is a wise choise..especially the CPS version! drool.gif
If you wana buy the IAFM version, better make sure u love the Gen2..if not, you will truly not be happy u didn't consider the Persona.. whistling.gif

There are some flaws in the Gen2, but it's well worth every penny spent.. And there's no serious problems so far~ So, hopefully it's a car worth your hard earned money~ icon_rolleyes.gif

so are you the Gen 2 CPS owner? how long have u been driving? Surprisingly u said Gen2 has no major problem, so may i know what are those minor problem with ur car?

and what are the different btw IAFM and persona ?? i think the differnt is just size right ?

anyone here just bought gen2 recently? how much ?
*
Yupz, one proud owner¬ icon_rolleyes.gif
Surprising?? What's there to be surprised? Is it because it's a Proton? whistling.gif
To me, as long as the problems encountered can wait til service, it's not a major problem.. tongue.gif
QUOTE(jVIPERs2 @ Mar 24 2009, 01:41 AM)
Problems found:
1. Rear wiper water nozzle blocked (warranty claim - 2 weeks)
2. Boot light unavailable (Bought bulb - RM6.70)
3. Driver door protector fell off (Replaced F.O.C.)
4. Leather of leather seat front passenger loose (claiming warranty - 2months or maybe longer now doh.gif )
5. Boot lid panel loose (Pushed back in place)
6. Tyre caps missing (bought metal caps to replace)
7. Bottom of front bumper scratched
8. Steering wheel vibrating @ 110km/h (higher or lower speeds, stable)
9. Driver side view mirror vibrates (loose maybe?)
*
Difference is the boot size and the backseats (angle) and also the suspension setup¬ hmm.gif

Well, Proton having sales now.. RM3K on all models¬ shocking.gif

U mean, u still think the Gen2 CPS is overpriced even after u owned one? doh.gif

QUOTE(guessoline @ May 29 2009, 11:32 PM)
You made it sound like Gen2 is almost the perfect car.
I don't want to bash it so much. Because I'm also driving it. But to be honest?
I never really liked it since I got it til now. But I am still thankful it never really breakdown while driving half way.

No offense man  smile.gif
*
Well, I didn't say it was perfect..there are some problems don't u fully read my reply? doh.gif
Well, I love it since the launch..even the pre-facelift Gen2 sweat.gif
You can't get a brand new car with that 'feel' (satisfaction) at that price anyway~ whistling.gif

QUOTE(Dovienya @ Jun 2 2009, 10:04 AM)
For me,

it's average of 34-36L for every 320KM ..
I'm driving full 100% KL roads.

There is a few method I'm testing now:

1. Reduce the speed to (avg) 70km , rpm 2000 plus minus.
2. Consistent speed; meaning = minimize braking.
3. Control right leg; meaning = dont rempit.
But it is hard. Even when we dont decelerate, we can go to 90-100km so easily... whistling.gif
p/s: Low speed in gen2 = very boring. laugh.gif

Agreed~ cry.gif
