guys, i just realize that there are some ants in my hamster tank.. i think they are attracted to the food..it's not too many, only a few..and last night, i put the tank next to head on the bed .. very worried if the ants do something bad to my montee..

after 1 day, blurjoey declared war against frostfox.. i wanna join you !!
but later if i do something wrong.. dont declare war against me too..
two person in this thread that i'm scared if i do something wrong is blurjoey and hun.. LOL
very afraid if kena marah..

maybe they bite coz your finger have food smell..
for me, tame is that they they dont scare of you...

Reanne, just wondering, in normal cinnamon banded syrian, is there other colour genes? such cream, black, sable or umbro? just curious.. and is there possibility from banded syrian to produce solid colour syrian?

ahhh.. it's like learning biology again..
is there any source that i can read from about syrians genes and traits ?

my hammy got a new behaviour for the past three days i observed..
he likes to turn over his food bowl in the morning..my hammy will fully active in between 3am-8am..coz i normally sleep at 2am but my hammy still sleeping..when i woke up in the morning, he's was just going to sleep..but the past 3 days, every morning the food bowl will be upside down.. i wonder why... because past few days quite busy, havent spend my time with my hammy..

there's nobody wants to play with my hammy..some more he only full active around 3am-8am..everybody sleep edy at that time
everybody is afraid of my syrian.. they said " besar nye tikus !"
sometimes they called me father hamster too..aihhh

my syrian turn the food bowl upside down again..
i dont know why..is my hammy showing it is rebelling?

my hamster also push his porcelain house..
and nowadays he doesnt wantt to sleep in the house..
it will sleep around the corner or anywhere is comfy for him...

of course i have wheel for that little creature..
today i woke up and saw the wheel is now terbalik edi.. and my hammy is sleeping inside it..

better mix habitrail staple food with prestige or harry hamster food...
living world food not quite sure about it..

try ask someone to do postage la pok..

if it is not tame, you can tame it slowly..
even my syrian which is quite tame still bite me..last night lor kena bite again.
he bite my finger which i'm wearing a ring..and bleeding oso..
but today its ok edi..

i dont know why he bite me..
when i put my right hand inside the tank..he'll get on my palm and sniff2 only.although i just handle his food, my hammy dont bite..
but when i put my left hand,which i wear the ring, he'll try to bite the ring and accidently bite my finger..
but it's ok..already get use being bitten.. (although quite pissed off last night )
