though DOW futures show badly, what if tonight's selling may not be as bad as it reflects, this can be possible because people's fear escalate with a holiday in-between

KUALA LUMPUR - (Dow Jones): Malaysian pension fund Employees' Provident Fund Tuesday said the current weakness in the stock market represents an opportunity to accumulate shares.

"EPF is a long-term local market player, so definitely right now is a good opportunity," said Chief Executive Azlan Zainol.

EPF is one of the country's biggest institutional investors.

The benchmark Kuala Lumpur Composite Index ended 4% lower at 1352.35 midday.

EPF was selling aggressively last few week.

Indian Sensex is really 'crashing' now, dropping a whooping 12%! What's go up too high, crash the hardest.

Guess what, George Soros is talking again, he said, this time might be the worst financial crisis since after WWII. sweat.gif
May be he is shorting heavily again. tongue.gif biggrin.gif

CI is dropping more than 100 points in intra-day at that time but not closed at drop of 100 points. It loss about 40-50 points at the close at that time,

Btw, Genting is approaching to 7.00 Again drool.gif

Wait for 2 more consecutive days and see what happen, too early to tell whether it has been really breached or just 'touched'. Further candlestick signal is needed here....so be patient...stay at sideline

Yes true.. CI was down 100 points at one point in the morning and recovered to close -40.. Today we may see something worse than that which is closing minus 70-80pts which i think its even worse than 27 Feb 2007

Are you sure?
IOI still trading at more than 25x PE leh. CPO almost hit down today, down RM150

Yes, it has down a lot, but personally doesn't classify as very cheap esepcially KLSE, STI is much more attractive (aka cheap) than KLSE at the moment.

If it is a big slump, historical data tell us, recovery can be as short as 2-3 years or 5-10 years time. (only applied on good fundamental stocks)

If tomorrow market rebound while KLSE is closed, then curse liao, that's why less people want to buy right now, as 2 days can be a long long time in this kind of market for some punters.
