Public Bank posts RM2.1bil profit

The board has proposed a final dividend of 40 sen per share and a special dividend of 10 sen. Together with the interim dividend of 25 sen paid in August last year, the total dividend for FY07 amounted to 75 sen a share.

Now we official declare that the big bear is coming out, hoho.

I think many newbie have experience the bear run yet. It is a good learning experience process. Don't let fear overwrite your rasional thinking. Learn how to survive through the bad times.
Now people will start realise making money in stock market is not easy (like last 2-3 years). Long term average market return rate is about mid-teen number is considered a good return or OK return rate. Don't expect market to go up 30% or 50% pa.

The best investor is not the one who win the most money in bull market, but they are the one who lose the least money during bear market....

1400 support has been breached la. Without analysing i would safely say this is definitely for the worst. Cutting my stocks as i speak. The only way to recoup is jump the train and get on at the lower station. Sigh. RMXXXX gone. Sienz.

I think the impact on our economy is not going to be very serious, not sure of our share market cos it is ruled by Fear rather than Logic. People tend to use the falls in other Asian Markets as yardsticks for our own market, without comparing the economy. not wrong and not right. jsut 2 sen opinion.

I agree, 110%. People ( like me and you ) lost money in the past talk sense. But I presumed you make back a lot, right, OKK ?

Actually, i use my EPF to buy UT and managed to lock in some profits and some on paper loss. I have not invested a single sen from my cash yet. I am happy to hear what you say, lose less but be happier.

Not really, but so far, I am still good since I overhauled my investment strategy and trading plan.
