If im not mistaken, I believe Merrill will announce its financial result on Thursday (tomolo) lor..not tonite.
Tonite, JP Morgan will announce its financial. Expected JP Morgan will announce slightly down than previous year. Not worst compare to Merrill and Citibank. So, tonight possibly DJ wont plunge again.

Actually, IMHO there is 2 bad news and 1 possibly good new on this Thursday.
Bad news:
1)Merrill Lynch financial announcement expected as bad.
2)CPI index data will be out as well as other reports. (very important data/edited: if its data not good).

Good new: 1)FED Bernanke will give speech. If he announce economic stimulus package or cut rate news, market will rally.

So, maybe will buy some to keep until next Monday.

walao...today is single biggest KLCI drop that i ever encountered for half years trading experience.
wipe out all the rally last week. 1500 CI index seem hard to sustainable.

no wor..at that time, havent started playing with shares. so, din care about it lor..
started end of July 2007 mah..

wow, miss out those "dragon-ride". more geng chau than roller coaster ride. haha

i think should be drop 100+ more last Feb 2007 as mentioned by other LYN.
i haven experienced b4. so far, -50++ is the most biggest drop in single day to me.

Btw, want to ask is it next Monday is public holiday? DJ will open or close?
Saw website that said next monday 21st Jan is "Martin Luther" Day so DJ will closed. Is it true?

If it is, i think it is for state public holiday not applied to all.

Seems there is some possibilities that GE will be postponed. Maybe because of Lingam case that causing bad images to Msia government. That's why Badawi wish to postpone until case is end and ppl forget about it.
No wonder yesterday KLCI drop so much. Unable to sustain it.

Like last Christmas and Thanksgiving last year, where Asian market rally once DJ close for holiday.
DJ is a very big SOB. Without its SOB subprime issue, Asian market will perform much better than currently.

What DSAI means? Well, next March 2009 is 5 years term for GE.
Last time GE is at March 2004. Every 5 years will have GE. So, by late should be before March 2009.

want to ask about warrant conversion:
Case 1:
For warrant conversion after its expiring date, if i have bought warrant at 300lots @ 0.30cents = RM9K
After conversion calculation after minusing administration fees: each units will gain 0.05cents = RM1.5K
So at the end, i will get RM10.5K, rite?

Case 2:
Same case as above but each units loss 0.05cents. Is it all money that i invested including RM9K will gone?
Or issuer will give back RM7.5K after minusing RM1.5K losses?
