Hmm..I'm a Malaysian Chinese guy so let me give my two cents on this. Should be good since I know my own people better. Anyway, I can't help but notice that there are a lot of sourpusses in this thread. You guys haven't had any luck with Chinese girls? tongue.gif Btw, I'm the TS of the Malay girls thread.

Chinese people, not just the girls, aren't very expressive so they tend to be shy (and unfriendly) in public. But there are some very friendly ones around also. So if you experience what the TS of this thread said, about them looking like you in a constipated way etc, it means
1) It's the way they are (not a good thing I admit), or
2) You're an *******.

So before criticizing other people for acting shitty towards you, perhaps it might be something about yourself that puts them off. I think Malay and Indian girls are easier to approach (maybe it's bcos they know i'm Chinese so they don't think I might go after them? just a guess) but I don't think Chinese girls are difficult. Actually I think they are easy too. 90% of Chinese girls I've approached are friendly and open up easily. The other 10%..well who gives a damn about 10%.

About being materialistic.. how does one come to the conclusion that another person is materialistic? We can only know for sure when we date them and then the demands come in. My ex didn't demand anything (if there were, it wasn't related to money) and another close friend of mine instead is willing to sacrifice her money for her jobless boyfriend. And the latter is a Singaporean, don't we always stereotype them for being materialistic?

So any of you guys who jump to the conclusion based on the first few impressions, lemme know. I want to know your techniques of evaluating people. Hope it isn't prejudice. But most likely it is =P

So umm.... Where can I find these various sax forums? drool.gif
What's with this "not everyone is blah blah blah" defence? Saying "not all malaysians are rude" doesn't change the fact that malaysians are some of the rudest people in the world (Reader Digest said in 2006 KL is the 3rd rudest in the world).Jungle people are nice. It's the city people who are horrid.

Actually, I agree with the reasoning in bold. Fair enough.

Question is, HOW do you know Malaysian Chinese girls (or anyone else) is materialistic if you don't know them well or date them? A lot of people say this person, that person has gold coins for eyeballs based on first impressions and prejudice. That's shallow judgement from shallow minds. If you don't know em, don't judge em.
