@shoguniphicus,
I been informed that's because Mac Office 2004 wasn't built for the Intel chipped Macs - it was meant for the predecessors. Am awaiting Mac Office 2008 as that should speed things up. |

Am wondering if anyone know if there's 'FAMILY PACK' for Office 08? *grins*
Also, any current users? Any feedback? |

Just got me hands on Office 2008 - loading time is much much much faster compared to Office 2004 - GUI's improved and it's looking more Mac now.
Will just have to work with it for a while more before I can give more comments. |

@jwho28m,
I somehow think Office 2004 would be more suitable for ur use, instead of or Office 2008. Speaking of which, how do u revert to Office 2004? Did u delete the previous files or did u just leave it on ur system during the installation of Office 2008? |

@jwho28,
Oh... It's a good thing I haven't deleted the Office 2004 of mine, don't have the installation disk on me *grins* Had better keep a copy now Keynote is not difficult to use but it will take some getting used to. Once you're familiar with it, it's like a breeze. And it sure looks better than powerpoint. At least, not so many people use it, so ur presentation would look a little more unique than the rest |

@allvin,
I believe I had a choice of whether I wanted to remove Office 2004 or not; first time I didn't remove it and just went on to upgrade it but my files were still being opened by Office 2004, so I think I did a manual removal [perhaps that's Y it ended up in my trash] or well, i don't remember! *gulps* |

Er.. If u just want users to view the file, save it pdf format, ur formatting will still be there; only fall back is the 'no edit allowed' problem! *grins*
