well, my myvi se till now 6 months old d de brake disc still no rust... tink wat [Ruga] said is rite tho but not very sure in this matter oso as i can hardly see whether it's sprayed or izit original colour...

i tek another good look at my disc brake 2day under bright daylight... De part wer u mentioned (the rusted part) is silver in colour so can't differentiate whether it had been sprayed or izit de original metal colour... 2 me it looks like sprayed tho... btw my car is SE bought in July 2007, till now de disc brake looks brand new, no rust at all and de mileage bout 12k plus d... Hope dis can help Hope it'll stay lidat coz i oso hate those rusted disc brakes but can't help it... if it's reli sprayed den it's gd news ler...

mine i oso use de original mat oh... till now never thoroughly clean it b4... juz pour and knock off the dirt everytime... i was also wondering how 2 clean it... tink de ori wan still can buy from P2 rite if spoil oredi next time?? any1 know bout dis?? if kenot buy d den mayb i'll buy a ciplak wan n put oni loh coz i reli like de ori wan very much, summore my 1 SE wan black n red very nice partly i thought oso if keep it oso kenot c it everyday muz as well use it rite every1 can c

can feel any big differences after installing the sound proof material?? realise myvi sound proof not reli gd ler (mayb bcoz i always sit japanese cars since young)... not rugi wert if got big differences coz if after getting the car d like us, wanna do sound proofing oso sayang, hav 2 take out the car components summore...

any idea how much will it cost to do the sound proofing like u recommended (on the 4 door, boot door and spare tyre) and also the bonnet wan?? but 1 thing worry me is that they nd 2 take out the panels and stuff lidat rite, after that dunno dey can fix it properly like wat it use 2 b when it's original...

wah... u mean P2 got sell so cheap ar... izit only the bonnet insulator?? btw juz wanna noe de users experience... got any differences after installing??

same here... i'll still go 4 de myvi even de saga is more attractively priced... first coz myvi is a hatchback (more sporty and more suitable for me as a new driver and a student)... still can't resist de attractive features like LED backlamps, side turning signals, chrome wheel (on my SE), curvier and shorter front overhang (cute and compact look ), 4 power windows, built-in 2-din radio and the smooth gear change (tink it's using toyota's ECT)... however, if i'm a working man then might consider de persona or the upcoming gen.2... still tink the saga is a gd car compare to the viva, it's juz a different class car if wanna compare wif myvi although both r 1.3 and from the fact sheets seems like myvi performance is also better... plan 2 go and take a look at the saga 2morrow 2

yeah... dat's quite a big possibility as all the new facelifted sirion/passo around the world also has a 1.5 option... mayb it's too early to ask the ques here... if that reli happens might any of u guys here consider for an upgrade to the 1.5 new facelifted version??

dat day oso my se got hit by a motorcycle from the bac... the motorcyclist dunno mabuk or wat suddenly come and bang me while i was stopping at the traffic light... 1 of my screw came out oso... got slight scratch near de rear wheel arch der oso... de rest of the mark i managed to scrap off d ler... however, the screw part and the scratch haven't repair, waiting for the next service... tink the screw wouldn't cause the bumper to drop kua coz it's juz attached to the wheel fender only (if that's the screw u mean ler)...

Wow nice rims... how big izit?? mind describing more?? Planning to change mine too after my tyre worn out... btw, generally how long it takes for the ori tyres to get worn-out before i have to change?? Juz an estimation would do... any1 knows??

mine oso white colour... bout de grease part i juz use a tar & grease remover to remove it, dunno whether dat's the grease part u meant, mine is at the door liner der and below the door handles, usually got it after washing the car... the remover which it comes in cream form in a can is more advisable 2 use dat after washing ur car ler... as for the shampoo... initially when i bought de car oso i juz use water to wash but after dat i start using a type of shampoo which comes wif wax in it oredi, den can c de difference after washing it compare to before that... the body looks more shiny and not so easy to get dirty...

are u serious... how much ur mileage now?? if below 6k still not too l8 ler...

mine de grease dun appear very often oso like u've mentioned (nd 2 clean every 2-3 days), even if i nvr use wax oso dun hav 2 clean it so often... mayb u drive around dat area very dirty izit... Give a proper cleaning once den dun hav 2 worry d... i oni wash my car like every 2 weeks if not very dirty la...

Bout the 2007/2008 batch tink if u get 2007 batch de value wouldn't b as gd ler i tink... correct me if i'm wrong...

my vivi alignment seems to lari a bit oso... it's like when on the straight road i nd 2 turn de steering a bit, if not it'll go 1 side but that time i service and check they say ntg wrong... how 2 determine when i nd 2 realign de alignment?? can some1 plz explain??

Nvr reli go n test till lidat la... Juz while normal driving can feel it lari when on the straight road... It' been lidat for some time d and i realise it occurs most of the time while i'm driving on straight roads (even in the parking basement) but not very serious ler... Juz lari a bit, bout 10-15 degree... Juz wanna know when's the time 2 realign it coz some1 said if a bit nvm rite... btw the place i'm staying here (bkt tinggi) quite a lot of potholes, that's y de alignment lari so fast, my car 7 months old oni...

oh yea... my dad oso ask me to wash the engine bay... can i juz straightaway spray water inside?? i mean except for the area where the spark plug and black oil tank is located... usually i juz wipe the top part oni, so de bottom actually quite dirty...
