MotorStorm 2 Demo Coming This Thursday; Oct 16th



This week the demo for MotorStorm Pacific Rift will be available on the PLAYSTATION STORE for free download. The demo includes Rain God Spires, one of the 16 courses exclusive to MotorStorm Pacific Rift. Race against the computer in single-player mode or grab a friend for some split screen multiplayer action. Log on to the Store from your PS3 system and download it this Thursday, Oct. 16th!

MotorStorm 2 demo is now available for download at UK PSN.

I was told theres was no region for PS3.
Is it true?

A video game shop owner told me that.

Tested the demo, IMHO, gameplay quite the same as the first one, the monster truck crazy but a bit hard to control (easily roll over even when hitting the guy on a bike )....
Graphic... photorealistic environment but the vehicles are poorly modeled , they just look like floating...... even worst, i thought they hv implemented the destruction of the environment, but i'm wrong
For me this is quite a let down, maybe i'm hoping too much for this sequel..
Maybe i'll get it second hand.....

Yesterday tried the game.
Hmmm this is my first time play MotorStorm.
Hmmm for me i think the environment is quite good. But like what neoardi said, the vehicles is poorly modeled. When i try to use the bike, is like floating...
Not bad but hmmm this game just for some joy only.

Yeah, the tree trunks near the end of the lap is not destructible at all.

My monster truck got totaled instead when I knocked the tree trunks.

The only thing that shines out from this game is the split screen multiplayer mode. Other than that it's roughly the same as the first one.

Sorely dissapointed on this one. It just doesn't feel as intense as the first Motorstorm. The races just feels..... meh.

Sure the presentation of the game has improved quite a bit, but one thing that is sorely not improved is teh gameplay. Just felt like playing Motorstorm 1.5 instead of 2.

tried the demo,and still dunno whats so fantastic about this game/series..

so many people say one of the best off roaders on the PS3,but honestly i feel PURE>>>>>>>Motorstorm

Agree. And I still don't see what's so good about the graphics Yes at the mud effects but everything else is meh.

you need to go online. thats the meat of this game. imagine riding your scrambler while being chased by a truck, that is leaping on top of you.

then they should give a taste of the online.

and i know what you mean by being chased by a truck..last night i played the demo again (after our MGO match) and got whacked from behind by one of the stock cars
