i think you can roughly measure the length from mobo plate to the fan and check it with the height of s1283.

Hmm... a good idea and I should do some of the "homework" hmm.gif.

Anyway, just wonder if anyone using the same casing and cooler with me can share their experience smile.gif.

BTW, how's the cooler working with ya? Happy with the temp after OCed at 3.6GHz? biggrin.gif

it's working even better after lapped.
s1283+tuniq x2 = awesome.

1.51vcore(sux vcore maybe due to cheap mobo) fulload 69C, idle 39C, ambient 29C.

Izzit advisable to do the lapping? unsure.gif Lapping on the processor will void the warranty and resell value coz some ppl doesn't prefer it and if overlapping the S1283 cooler will have problem with the DHT? unsure.gif

i didn't lap my processor because it's retail unit, don't wanna void the 3 years warranty.
i will definitely lap it if it's OEM unit. brows.gif
the heatpipe will leak if you overlapped it. sweat.gif
but i don't think the heatpipe thickness is so thin.
i just spent 30 minutes with 1200grit and 2000grit to make it mirror finishing. rclxms.gif
