forget all the silly thought of getting back together. If u cant let go of it, u are not moving anywhere beyond the relationship. As long as you believe you might get back together, you will not let the person go.

Allow yourself to be sad. Yes ..get sad,mad or whatever if u like. Give yourself some time like a month or two..You will feel slightly better day by day and eventually, the thought of your ex will not generate any sad feelings. But, just make sure you make an effort to not use this as an excuse for being a hermit many months later.

Many ppl will start thinking how their life will be without their partner.Stop having negative thought of how your life going to be without him/her but think in another way.Think how lucky are you to experience something special in your life..Without this relationship, will u ever have this kind of experience? So be grateful as it happen on you..

You cannot truly move on from the failed relationship until you emotionally lay it to rest. It take time to recover and rebuild a shattered confidence. Do not force yourself but take your time to recover fully from it.
