Ask you one question from your experinces. The question is if someone need EF135 f2 USM L for potrait if he already own;

5D + 40D camera
50 f1.4 USM
85 f1.2 L
70-200 f2.8 USM L

Do you think it is a good idea to have FF + 50 + 85 + 135 for potrait? Or the current FF + 50 + 85 + 70-200 L is sufficient.

One of the potential problem of having another 135mm primes might lead to too many lenses and create confussion on what lenses to use. It might also put the 70-200 at home...

What do you think?

50 + 85 or 50 + 135 is enough
no need the 70-200mm

So you also say the heavy 70-200 can keep at home la...

The problem is the guy bought 50mm and 85L liao... So you think worth to get another 135L ? You should know too many lenses also lead to confussion, right? And even there are 3 lenses, I believe 85L still the most frequently used.

So 135L or not?

By the way, how many lenses you carry for such potrait taking event? Any wide angle like 17-55? I brought that lense to the outing, but completely not using it...
