ok. i've got everything i need at the moment except for a rig that can play crysis at full settings.

after a tough but wise calculation , i decided to chip in rm5800 max for a new rig provided i already bought myself the 22" samsung lcd, razer copperhead and tarantula.

what i need is a rig that can run crysis with good cooling system and not very heavy and big to lug around, coz i always LAN party at my cousin's house.

and also, do i need to buy original vista for that?

can tell us wat spec u going to build? this is the suggestion from TH(CLICK).

anyway...few things to note...

1/ ur KB n mouse...id recommend a Logitech G5 + G15. unless ur going for the All Black thing then i say Reclusa + MX518 (cheaper too) but if still want tarantula ok oso la...id change the mouse to a logitech though... razer mice are kinda scary..can read the razer thread for more info.

2/ mobo: n780i mobos coming out soon....but dunno when though. if willing to wait for that, good...otherwise n680i enough. only thing is cant support upcoming penryns. 780i can.
take note that the Asus P5N32-E SLI Bios Version 1203 (which happens to be the best OC Bios for this mobo) will NOT work with ANY products that has the Razer DNA, including Habu and Reclusa

3/ headphones: i forgot wat ur inventory is...but if need 1... Phillips SHP2700 (ksc75 aint suitable for gaming due to the almost non-existent soundstage)

4/dont worry about the size of the case, if the 007 can handle my GTS320 SLI (which produces more heat than GT) then sure can handle GT SLI. but if u want something with more cooling..theres a version of the 007 with a humongous 25cm side panel fan for RM2 less available at ATE.

5/ of course...prices stated above is BEFORE discount and negotiations

thanx madman.. the 2 x 8800gt sli looks tempting. so basically i can just get this setup at lowyat right? or anyway i can cut cost? maybe our lyn members are selling parts on the cheap?

yeah u can get the parts from LYP. as for cutting cost.... can la....move things around here and there.... u can also try looking at bulk/ garage sales.
