Hi,
Can you guys recommend some cheap and durable shuttles? Our group started out with Sea Lion 1130 but found it to be a bit light weight. Next tried Sea Lion 1011 (I think), it was ok but not durable, feathers tend to fray and break up before a game can finish. By the way, our group not expert players, some only taken up the game last year. Now we are using RSL gold which we find it's good and durable (can last 1 1/2 to 2 games) but at RM38 a dozen, quite expensive.
Have anyone tried other brands like Ashaway or Pro-Ace? Can give some feed back ah?
Also, we are from Klang, any recommedations on places can get cheaper RSL Gold shuttles?
Thanks
Matow

Don't know about Yonex, but between me and another friend of mine, we bought 3 apac rackets and so far found them to be good value for money. From their paint work one can see they are exact clones of Yonex rackets and according to the shop, no difference in performance (thats what he says lah, never used Yonex b4 so don not know whether got difference or not). Anyway the rackets cost between RM120 to RM150 each comes with the bag, stringing and grip.

Thks wliat for your feedback. Can you tell me how long does the shuttle last, can it last two games.
The RSL Gold will depend on whether we are lucky enough to get good batches because there was once where we bought 8 tubes and 4 tubes were poor where one feathers must break off before a game is over CONSISTENTLY. Thats why nowadays we buy 3 tubes each time, don't want to get caught with a bad batch.
