What brand of grip do u guys use? Is Karakal grip good? I wana change my china brand grip, feel dam sticky zzz, need something smoother. Btw u guys got remove the original grip? or juz add another layer of grip to it? Actually whats the difference if u remove the original grip compare to add another overgrip?
*
I use Karakal, really love it. I didn't remove my original grip since it's pretty thin and worn out. There is another brand, but I forgot the name...my friend recommended it and I like the feeling as well. Slightly more expensive than Krakal.

QUOTE(lanatir @ May 18 2007, 03:36 PM)
ok what... around RM9 each. i like karakal grips very much. yonex ones smell funny

Aik? I bought my Karakal for RM 7 nod.gif

Bought it at AJ Racket Mart, very near to MBA badminton hall in Puchong. I don't know the list/normal price though. I bought few things together with the grips. The shop give some good discounts rclxms.gif

Any reason the shop give u good discounts ? u know the owner or anyone can get the discount |?
*
No, I didn't know the owner. It was my first time to the shop, recommended by a friend. Apparently, the shop have a good reputation in giving discounts. biggrin.gif

It's a small shop, the size of half a lot. This is how the shop looks like (pics taken without permission from hot-screensaver.com):

I bought my RSL Heat 7490 from AJ last month as recommended by some online forumers. The owner was quite friendly hehe, i test around with all the racquets for almost 40 mins before settling down for 7490  whistling.gif , the owner says the retail price for 7490 was more than 300, i bought mine for 257, it was a good deal i guess?
*
No wonder when I saw your post in BC, I kinda recognize it. The RSL racket gave it away I guess.

How's the new apacs pc1110? Post some pictures and review in here if you can...hot stuff weh! rclxms.gif

Hmmmm.......

Why only Yonex got fake ones ?  hmm.gif
I never heard like Carlton/YangYang/Wilson and others got fake ?  sweat.gif  sweat.gif
*
Because Yonex the most popular one? Heard rumors that Yonex racker price going to decrease since there's too many fakes out there. laugh.gif

Other manufacturers maybe don't have fake but clone got.
APACS makes clone of many manufacturers, not Yonex only. laugh.gif

Guys,

Clones ?  shocking.gif
Gosh ~ everyone just wanna makes fast money  doh.gif  sweat.gif
I wonder if any human being is clones living among us  brows.gif
*
LOL.
Don't forget, long time ago IBM PC also got cloned mah...and that's how we get our current PCs. brows.gif

QUOTE(ataris @ Aug 23 2007, 03:51 PM)
how much the original 1 ?
*
For example:

Yonex Ti-10: RM 380 - RM 500
APACS Power Concept 1110: RM 90+ - RM 150

Yonex Armotec 900: RM 500+
APACS Armo Tec 900: RM 120

Clone not 100% same with the ori one. For example, APACS PC1110 don't have Yonex Ti-10's Muscle Power frame. PC1110 lost it's stiffness faster and vibrate more. That's from my observation of course. These things are all subjective. nod.gif

Can you advice how to diffence the clones from the original ones ?  icon_question.gif
*
Do you mean how to differentiate between fake Yonex and original Yonex?

A very2 helpful guide: http://www.badmintonrepublic.com/fake/index.html

I personally check the grip. Yonex factory grip are pretty nice IMHO, although maybe not all their rackets use the same grip.

any idea wat website can i see these 3 models badminton racquets?

I found Fanthom Ace here, but dunno whether it would be much help to you or not:

http://www.bbeshop.com/racket_wilson.htm
http://www.bbeshop.com/en/racket_wilson.htm

Check both pages as I found out some of the rackets are not listed in the English version of the site and vice versa.

yOuNg$tEr: Which combination you going to get? If you have time, bring yourself to Bangi, man. It might be a little bit far but the distance worth it, man! You might found a number of superb deal there. icon_idea.gif

yayayaya.. that's the one..  the uncle in Etakoh recommend the black one.. there are still red one n blue one..

have u bought it??  can pinjam to try ah??  wakakaka.. joking..  but not cheap too.. RM200+..

I have try it in the shop..  not bad.. 3U..  need a little bit of arm power to handle it..
*
Yup, that's my current baby. Cannot la pinjam, I don't have other racket tongue.gif

It's RM 200+ at Etakoh? I got it for RM 139 includes APACS overgrip, string (choice of Carlton/Protech .66/Protech Absolute Gold .66) and a bag at Hock Eng Bangi just 3 weeks ago.

The shop owner did show me Carlton price list and PF807 are listed at RM 279.90 but I don't really buy into it since I couldn't find the racket elsewhere locally. blink.gif

i get used to thick grip. But next change i will try to remove the ori grip, i think smaller grip is more power.

Added on August 28, 2007, 9:59 pmone of my fren, his grip the wood cracked oledi, does any one knows where to replace the whole wooden grip?
*
Currently, I'm using a thinner overgrip compared to Karakal overgrip. Will change the grip to Karakal soon and will note the difference. nod.gif

I don't know any shop that does handle replacement service either. sad.gif
Have you read this thread at BC, before? Should be helpful, if your friend want to replace the handle DIY style.

Is Cab21SP same with Cab21 Special, no?
If I'm not mistaken, I saw Cab21SP at Studio R One Utama for RM 299. That means at actual badminton shop it would be around 250-270...If you can find it under RM 200 is a very very very very good deal. I would buy it and then sell it. laugh.gif

I checked BBEShop.com that Cab30-Muscle have been discontinued. I believe it's around RM 300+. At BC review secton, a reviewer said that it have the same feel like MP99 except that MP99 is stiffer and have iso frame.
