QUOTE(tidus 2 @ Nov 6 2005, 01:55 PM) I`dont think yonex is good for beginners I prefer carlton n prince because most of them r made of titainium n it is quiet cheap n light.but yonex crbonex is made of steel so it is much heavier. hey dude are u sure u noe what u are talking about? yonex carbonex racquets arent very heavy. and its not made of steel. its made of carbon thats why its called carbonex. my sister has 2 carbonex racquets and both are very light. |

QUOTE(CoffeeDude @ Nov 16 2005, 04:53 PM) How much did you pay for your racket? got it for RM 399 with string. Japan made[dun worry its ori. checked with sunrise]. dun ask me where i got it from Where did you buy it? Is it made in Japan or Taiwan or China? As for the strings, I think you can use the thin types 0.64 and ask the shop to use 24lbs tension. I'm not an expert so don't flame/blame me. i think the tension of my current guts are around 24lbs. accodring to the "shi fu" at the shop, he said it can easily handle 26. but i dun wanna risk putting such a tight tension on my racquet. nanti the frame snap like my older one[and that was titanium summore] |

QUOTE(swgiant @ Dec 9 2005, 04:33 AM) I bought a prince evo II racket for RM 230, it is good to play but the frame is too fragile. Mine is BG85 @ 24lbs and crashed with my friend's yonex CAB 21 and end up my prince broken. well, if u cant generate a hard smash, cud be ur string. Now, i own a Proace ti dream and platinum dream. I got a several crash with my partner racket and consider a Ti dream has a hard frame. Platinum dream is quite light and felt regret to own it! or maybe not enuf power put into ur smashes |
