hmm...going to thailand soon...i know bangkok's yonex is really cheap....but im not going to bangkok...does any of you know if yy in chaingmai is cheap? thought of getting a mp-99...or the new NS.....i heard it's only rm3xx only...
*
Thailand famous of Fake YY leh my friend.. better beware.. I have offer from shop MP99, amortech.. RM100++ only..

RM300+ for an MP99.. for me.. I don't think I will buy.. except u know exactly it is real...

notice the word YY in the T join... see the serial number, DOM.. all this is print to the racquet if fake one.. real one is engrave onto the racquet one..

hi there

can any1 recommend me a racquet:-
-3u weight
-iso frame
-durable
-head heavy balance prefarable
my budget was RM 150 and below, any recommendation around kl, subang or klang area?

thkz in advance

pay slighty higher for MP low end series.. I believe wt string.. u can get it around RM170-190... from MP23-MP30... go for lower model number if u prefer flex.. 23 to 30.. doesn't mean the lower number is not as good as the higher.. see which one suit u more.. thumbup.gif

Hi, I'm new to this part of the forum, I usually hang out in the Liverpool FC thread smile.gif Anyways, I just bought the Fischer Pro 1T just like yours, but the yellow-coloured version. Strung with BG-68Ti, 24lbs. Haven't tried it yet but will be playing later this evening, can't wait. My question is, this is a gorgeous racket (loved the colours, btw) but   besides being too light, izit a good racket for that price point? It was RM199 with bag, string and grip... I was looking at AT500 and got quoted at RM350. Since I'm not too 'terror' a player, I decided to get the Fischer... the shop fella said it's very flexible. I usually play doubles. smile.gif

Nice to meet u and nice to hear that u get a same model of racquet wt me.. have tried play with it several time.. my comment to the racquet..

my string is BG-66 , 24x26lbs.. BG66 is the thinest in Yonex string model.. heard people said it is good in power as well as control.. but thin = not durable..

the racquet.. very very good control... drop ball, net front.. very good.. for double.. very fast... coz the racquet is very light...

drawback.. the frame of this racquet is thin .. and it do not generate powerful enough smash.... perhaps I am not use smash with the racquet yet. and G5 is too thin for me too.. so.. I added another layer of grip to it.. nice.. thumbup.gif smile.gif

cheer..

edit for this --> sorry to tell u that u get it at a bit pricy... I got my at RM150.. tongue.gif go back to the shop scold that fellow.. tongue.gif

well, maybe the Amortec 700 is equivalent; head heavy, stiff, but the weight is a total different matter rolleyes.gif

WAH PIANG! For RM150 har? Which shop? Siau lor like this...  cry.gif
Well, I'd played with it and I feel that it's a good racket, but need more playing time to confirm... smile.gif This type of rackets would've cost more than RM200 in the past, but nowadays coz so many brands are out there, the prices are coming down. 1st time playing already banged heads with my double's partner... a piece of paint chipped off but his racket a bit kemek already... wink.gif Luckily mine didn't break... I do agree with you that it's a bit too light for getting more power to your smashes... But other than that, it's sweeet!

Plan to get a friend's second hand Carbonex 8SP...
1. Is it good for beginner/intermediate level ? Mixed net play and smashes.
2. How many U is this racket ?
3. What to check for 2nd hand racket ?
*
U mean those old aluminium head type??

forget about it ...

But if it is one piece type ( are there any Carb 8 one piece carbon type?), then should be fine..

beside, there are Carbonex 7000, 8200, 8400.. pretty cheap.. light 4U racquet good for beginner.. even shopping center for those are only RM60-70..
