I just bought a xbox 360 for my son for christmas (that's like 5 days ago). Everything working fine until last night the tv could not get a signal from the xbox. After turning on/off and messing around with the cables, finally managed to get the screen back.

Went to sleep, next morning my son told me the screen went blank again after 45 minutes. Tried another tv same thing. This is not the RROD I read about, cause the lights are green.

To think I paid RM1xxx for this crap. M$ sucks big time.

Any experts please tell me what I can do other than use this as a big expensive doorstop sad.gif

Help....!

Also, which cable did you use to hook up your machine?
The RCA, Component or HDMI?
If you're hooking up to a LCD or hi-def screen with a Component or HDMI cable, you'll need to make sure you switch to HD on your cable (you'll be surprised how many people don't know this) and properly configure your TV setup in the xbox360 itself.
I use a HDMI hookup and sometimes the screen goes all funny (wrong resolution) and I'll have to restart the xbox....... but that happens on very rare occasions and also the way I hook up my system is quite complex yet simple at the same time...... all my hook-ups are conundrums tongue.gif

Err he bought from Gamers Solution ler. But I am sure Bernard will take care of you. The console is still new, he will probably arrange for warranty claim.

hope he tried on another tv first before changing. if the problem still persist, then it could be the hdmi connection. u r using hdmi rite? it happens to me too when i connect my ps3 to my lcd tv. sound out, but no pic. but i managed to solve it.

so the question is, r u using hdmi?

My xbox360 also with this problem, when I played dead space suddenly the screen turn to blue colour, so I quit the game to dashboard, dashboard also with blue colour, so shut down the console and restart it, no signal show at my LCD TV, tried with component, composite, HDMI, bring the console to my friend's house, use their cable and LCV TV to test, still no display signal and without RROD....so know that it's the time for my xbox is dead, mine is falcon chipset and manufacture date 31-10-2007
