pokok86 rig is officially done assemble,
now waiting to install windows only

just the damn scary vdrop of the mobo...
set 1.45V at bios,
when stress with orthos, drop till 1.38V or 1.39V only...

in term of vdrop, the biostar is better than gaygaybye,
but the biostar got fsb strap,
cant easily go higher than 400mhz...

now stressing with orthos,
tomorrow will attach the print screen...

now tested 9 hours prime stable at 3.2ghz

this E6550 is based L726B batch, retail unit. and the ram is based D9GMH chipset. NB changed to NC-U6 and the S1283 installed at vertical position, original fan come with S1283 running at full speed, ~2100rpm

vcore reading:
bios set | bios reading | cpu-z reading (idle/load) | SG reading (idle/load)
1.38v | 1.38v | 1.376v/1.376v | 1.37v/1.37v 

vdimm reading:
bios set | bios reading | SG reading (idle/load)
2.2v | 2.2v | 2.19v/2.17v 

nolar, the cooler he means is north bridge cooler i think...
and some fans to swap with the original silverstone fans inside the casing...
coz the air flow of the fan is not high....

But I didn't get it because of the design. I just want a window.
Anyway, pls allow me to post some pics here. 
Cheap stuff for nicer look. That really made me feel I have an awesome casing.

And my setup. (Ignore the psu cables, haven't tried to hide any since I haven't sleeve them up.)


First result for my c2d.
3.5GHz stable. Rams did well by reaching 1000MHz with ease, didn't touch ram timings though.
Chipset temperature was so much higher than proc. Will probably need better cooling for it.
forgot to run dual super pi.

Next up, I'll be trying to chase gsan's result. Time to slap on the hr07 onto naked team elites and hope my ip35-e, team elites and cm460 can stand my torture.

Ace, last time u did try Q6600 or not?
mine need to pump quite high voltage to run at 3.6ghz...
wonder is wat is the voltage problem or other problem...
