Tools >> Settings >> General >> Personalization >> Standby Mode >> Off >> Done!

Hack your phone and use any file explorer except file manager 2 delete it or connect it 2 your pc n delete it via your pc.

but i still want to maintain the other shortcut worr.. not close all the shortcut..

Its possible but u need 2 hack the phone first lo. I haven't try it tho.

I upgrade my N81 firmware and im regretting it now. It looks damn bloody stupid. The speaker is damn low looks like a cheap phone and the fonts is so ugly. Is there anyway i can downgrade it? No.

luckily , i still stick with the old firmware.. thank god.. it never let me down..

hi all i just got my 2nd hand set here N81 8GB user
would like to ask something as told by the guide in first page
if i were to format it, will the nokia maps be gone?

what else would be gone after format? cos i just got my phone so just wana format it to original factory settings but scare it would remove the nokia maps as well

oh god, i've been searching for nearly 1 year to clear my phone memory, but then no success, but i know the "Download" there also eat plenty memories, anyone me ?

im stil on the old firmware version 11 since 2007, so far so good, need to read thru this whole thread to know more about the new firmware whether stable or not..
guess u need to wait bit longer till someone comes in here again

yeah me too, i like n81 speaker, the sound is much better than my gf's 5800xm, so suprise old n81 sound still can beat nowdays phone like 5800, express music somemore..

im still on old firmware, not dare to update, never try before, scare will spoil my phone..

anyone here found and torch light(camera light as torch) software for N81? i found one but not that good,

yeap true, the sounds rox, i plugged in a rechargeable speaker and it was blasting! i know this phone already amplified cos when i put full vol on the speakers, the sounds is too loud and breaking since my speakers already amplified, really good sound chip in our phone
I have few frens using 5800 also dun like their speakers, not loud enough they say

sound not as crystal clear as our N81

but too bad we dont have GPS on it, plus the external receiver seem like not worth to spend on, if not sure ill stick to this phone long long time...

Can always use google map for symbian.

hey guys, i just installed latest n-gage into my phone from nokia pc suite, then i copy the game files .ngage into the folder but when install, it always get corrupted

firmware version 11 here

any idea what happened?
