Hi, currently i got a pc for gaming , and thinking of getting a psp either is 2nd hand or brand new.

but i am wondering is that a waste because "already have 1" this kind of thinking appear in my mind.

what is your guys opinion? is usually u "dump" 1 console, left it behind like a ex gf and then play another 1?

I am a student i spend a lot of time in public transport.

Haha. It doesn't have to be that way. Most of us can play lots of games at the same time.

Some bring their PSP's or NDS when they're away from home. Some even alter their days of playing either console games or pc's.

So for your case, if you really wanna focus on 1 game, then it is certain you would most likely abandon your PC if you focus on finishing your psp game.

but if you don't want that to happen, alternately playing games would do the trick.

A PSP or NDSL is better when ur a student using public transport. I was in ur shoes once, commute everyday to college (Bus & LRT), but i always bring my DS everywhere so i that i won't be sleeping or staring at my hp, hehe..

At home, my pc and 360 keeps me going for more games...

and yes..

i still have time for my assignments..

Since u commute to college and sometimes the travel won't be that long, i suggest u get a DS, its much more cheaper n the some of games are short n fun (no load times), true way of the portable.

I travel to work everyday...It take around 45mins to 1 hr...I enjoys my PSP more that my DS...I;m the kind of guy who likes anime, so My PSP will be filled with a lot of anime eps...plus MP3 and of course games....

So like when I'm in the mood for games, I'd play them...then sometimes when the LRT is crowded, I would watch anime/movies/1up show (podcast)

But if LRT is too crowded, I would just listen to my mp3....

So that is why I enjoys my ps3...even when I'm having my lunch, I would put my PSP on the table...then enjoy my lunch watching the latest episode of Bleach/One piece.

Since you already have a PC...you would have to prob to downloand and also conversion of the movies for teh PSP...

Just buy and you won't be disappointed...

p/s: I have a DS too...so sometimes I would play the DS instead of the PSP...depending of my game mood....but usually it'd be my psp since my wife would be holding on to the DS...

p/p/s: and with a PS3 I can logon to my PS3 at a hotspot and play my movies/music from my PC at home...though the quality is not so good and sometimes it stutter a lot...maybe because of my sucky streamyx connection...

Well. If your thinking of the DS and the PSP price wise. They are about the same. I'm talking DS+R4 and modded PSP. I would go PSP though. Multi-usage as you said. Lazy play games. Watch movie lor. Or listen to music.
