It depend on yourself actually, what kind of amount u r willing to pay at this very moment...

For myself i decided to take advantage of the 10% discount for constant repayment and wait and see next year post GE how? I will follow the 1% repayment suggested for now

FYI my loan is almost 42k and the 1% interest within 180 months is around 6k. that sum up to about rm34++ per month. I will stick to that for now

What I understand from u:

a) if u pay 600/month, the balance on Sept 2013 = 17.2k, discount = 3.44k, exact amount to settle = 13.76k

a) if u pay 100/month, the balance on Sept 2013 = 21.2k, discount = 4.24k, exact amount to settle = 16.96k

U hv more discount but u hv more to settle, am i correct?

Not yet  sweat.gif Just checked PTPTN website and they postponed the deadline for ujrah application to March 2013. Just want to confirm that if the loan is changed to ujrah, I still can settle the loan earlier if I want to and make payment as usual right? No need to deduct from salary or whatever.

Confirmed, but no point to settle it earlier than one year bcos the rebate can only get on the 13th payment subject to constant repayment

Hye guys, did anyone know if i work at private sector
And want to pay ptptn by epf? Am i eligible? Procedure?
*
No one knows but using epf is considered as a lump sum payment...If u have balance its up to u how to pay

If I did not pay ptptn for awhile, will they really cancel my passport?
*
They don't cancel your passport, they just bar u from going overseas

If u had paid b4 but decide to not paying for a while, I think they wont blacklist ur name

In case u are not paying a cent since grad, they will blacklist u straight away and put your name in the newspaper

Hi guys, I'm a fresh graduate. I would like to repay PTPTN loan via online banking (M2U, PBeBank). What loan information I should provide to the bank (Maybank, Public bank, etc)? PTPTN account id?

Thank you.

You need to provide the loan offer number as provided in your letter of offer first page top right

Hey, does the kos pentadbiran add each month?

E-FES only shows kos pentadbiran for the first month. ( I just started paying - 6 months after graduation ) Been paying for 3 months now.

Supposed to...the admin cost will increase based on the last end of the month monthly payment balance

hi all,

i have a question here...if we settle the outstanding loan, we will get 20% discount right? what is the process for that?

assuming make it simple, i owe RM10k...so do i just pay RM8k straight away and they will close the 2k owed as discount?

thanks and appreciate inputs from those who has done this before.
*
Ive not done it but my thinking is either u settle the balance only or u have to settle full and get the rebate after they vet through ur application...I'm going for the latter seeing they may take the money first b4 distribute

Yeah I know tht...like my case im getting the 10% discount constant pay scheme for a year...the mechanism is u have to pay constantly every month and only can get discount on the 12th month...so the discount is not immediate but in your case maybe u hv a point...try asking them and see
