What's the best music player application for n82 right now? I find the built in one not good enough...

Anybody try the video recording function? I am planning to buy this phone as I am expecting a new born baby on June..so waiting for the price to go down as well as to know whether how good is the video recording function..Can we burn those video recorded using N82 into a DVD since it claim that the resolution is 640X480@30fps so should it have DVD quality?? I do have a viewcam and digital camera..but sometime feel those are not handy enough as compare to a phone..Also, any good recommendation for good place to buy this phone in Klang Valley with good discount and trade-in? Appreciate all sifu advice..Thanks in advance

I am now befuddled between choosing Samsung i550 and Nokia N82..

Yeah, but I've already knew that.

The main resistance to buy for N82..
1. Too expensive
2. Smaller screen only 2.4" whereas i550 is 2.6"
3. Doesn't have the self-portrait mirror besides the lense like the one found in Samsung and SE phones
4. It's not thin like Samsung i550
5. Black version is not yet out!!

Thanks for your advice, will possibly go for the either 4 or 8GB since I will need to put in some maps.. I think the N82 battery can only record max 96mins before it drain off..so heard that 2GB is capable for ~96-100mins..so guess should be ok..normally won't record continuously for more than 1 hours I guess.. so think maybe a 4GB one is sufficient..but also think of sometime may not transfer all video instantly to computer..so this is why thinking of a 8GB one.. Comment?? how about any recommended shops?

speaking about the trackball.. now i remember about the tiny keys of n82..

do you feel them comfortable for texting and pressing??

aiii...i think u go buy ur samsung better la since u think tat phone is better than this...my first phone was a samsung...and then i swear to myself neva ever use samsung phone anymore...how can it compare to symbian phone..its like comparing a kancil to a benz

Any N82 user know izzit using WLAN got cost money??
I try to use WLAN to connect to web and i see 3G on top of the left...
Im confuse whether using 3G or WLAN to connect...
Coz if i connect in offline mode...
the 3G word dissapear...
But if i put in my profile...then the 3G appear again...

Thanks for the advice..I am currently hold back to buy the phone due to wife is pulling me back..  Anyway, plan to get one soon if cannot tahan liao..but definitely before my wife deliver..so hope that the price will go down to below 1.5K mark then it will be great.. May look for some good opportunity during the upcoming PC fair as well but guess not many of them will sell Nokia phone beside those HTC or WM smartphone..
Btw, any particular recommendation for the 8GB SanDisk microSD card and what is the estimated price at this moment?

Have you try to burn those video into a DVD?? How is the quality compare to real DVD quality movie? I heard that the video shoot using the N82 will be able to convert into DVD movie easily using software like Nero but have not try and not sure whether the MP4 compression will cause any loss in quality..but did play around with one unit before..seen like the quality playback on the phone looks ok..but not sure about how is it looks like when playback in computer or DVD player..Any Sifu did tried on this before? one main reason why I am consider N82 is because of it has the best video recording(don't compare with LG viewty which able to shoot at 120fps) with DVD video quality.. else I may thinking of buying another handy viewcam instead..cause my old viewcam battery already die..

But isn't it more related to BIG/SMALL FINGER rather than LONG/SHORT NAIL???

aiii...got this game also no use la..n82 keypad also not suitable for playin games...even if n82 can support crysis game...i dun think user will enjoy it on this phone either

N82 will support up to 32GB micro-SDHC. But currently only 8GB available. 16GB will come out around 3rd/4th Qtr 2008.

I think nothing computer related is cheap in 1U. Why not PC Fair (11-13 Apr), LowYat plaza or LowYat.net garage sale ?

1) 8GB is shocking ?  If next week KLCC PC Fair don't have 8GB micro-SD in 5-10 booths... I will be shocked.

hey guys... using N80 now.. but very lag la.. actually considering the n82 and n95 now.. which 1 is better le? any suggestions thx alotz ya !

1) Did you install a lot of applications ?
2) Are there a lot of auto-start applications or background-process activated ? e.g. flip-silent, themes, screen-saver, shake-sms, etc.

My N82 took about 20-30 sec to boot up and another 10-15 sec to settle down. Installed around 5-10 applications, but only 1-2 will auto-start.

Scumm(tm) VM engine is FREE.
However, you need to have the original game data-files and copy some of it into the µSD card. There are instructions in the weblink on which files are needed.

ScummVM(tm) is some sort like an emulator. That's the beauty of Scumm(tm) engine games. It can run in nearly all types of devices.
