Calm down, fanboys, zzzzz.

It's perfectly logical. From the N82 reviews I read around the net, each one of them proclaims how good the camera is, etc etc, compared to other camphones. Not a single review I came across mentioned the camera quality compared to dedicated digicams. Therefore these reviews gave me a (false) impression that the N82 had similar quality to at least a low-end digicam. Doesn't help that most of these websites take shots in bright daylight, and then resize the resolution so the lack in quality are not apparent.

[edit] essay I had an old K610i that had a rubbish camera, and I was initially planning on buying a digicam. Seeing N82 reviews that have nothing but praise for the camera changed my mind to buy an all-in-one smartphone instead, and this is the only regret I have for buying it - I expected more from the camera. 50% quality is bullshit too, TBH. My old powershot S200 is a 6-year-old, 2 megapixel camera, and it still takes better quality pictures (albeit at lower resolution) than the N82. Is it too much to expect that my N82 should blow this camera out of the water?

I can't figure out why my emTube lags so much. It's like, during the movie playback, the sound will be ok but the picture will sometimes lag to like 5 fps and become slideshow ... and this is videos that I save to the micro sd card.

I doubt it is a card speed problem either ... I have a hard gay youtube video (that lags like hell) that is 18megs and 7mins40s = roughly 39kb/sec transfer rate, which is way lower than what even the slowest cards are capable of.

The one which is not free is Home Media Server Premium, its a 30 days trial. Its feature includes Video Transcoding, it can convert any media file to be played in Nseries/and etc device such as PSP, ipod, xbox...

Part of the reason why I'm going to swtich to something else and buy a digicam instead. No offense to cameraphone, though. At least N82 is still something you'll expect from a camera phone due to the sensor size, however it's the best among all others phones in overall.

Say, is everybody take pictures everyday?? Frankly I don't even touch my n95 8gb's camera for like a week...

I dont tink everyone brings a dedicated camera with them 24-7 do they? So the cameraphone acts as a replacement when dedicated cameras are no present.

Weird, I am using the headset to listen to music from my laptop and it's quite clear and loud. No fuzzy noise for me so far.

Hmm, any of you got any recommendations for cradle that can put the phone standing upright in the car? Cos ... the GPS isn't good enough for audio only, must see the map also ... but if one hand hold phone one hand drive ... a bit dangerous ...
