QUOTE(fir3f0x @ Dec 24 2007, 01:48 AM) i wonder how they defame someone who is blacklisted by them .. they dont defame. but you wont be able to have a good reference letter. and a good reference letter is really essential to some employer / in employment process.

Basically there's no such thing as a "blacklist". The blacklist only comes about when your name is passed around the same industry. Pls remember that even though companies within the same industry are competitors, but they actually maintained a close relationship and words does pass around within the same circle.
It's like when I got a specific candidates; I would ask around first within the same industry and try to dig out information first.

Sounds like its not so impactful to the one who is blacklisted. My question is how did you know that you got blacklisted because I'm sure the organization that you got blacklisted from is not going to inform you about their action of doing so, right?

There is no "list" in first place. I really dont know where u get the idea about blacklisted.
Anyway it's your reputation within the industry that matter. If you are poor character and in field long enough, other market/boss/senior will know. But if you good then other will know too.

More of a black reference record rather than a blacklist to be appropriate. If you got a black record nothing much to do than either go out of the industry or go with a smaller start up company if you insist in staying with the company.

Being a fresh grad holding a 3rd class degree, it is as good as blacklist. Just find another job agency, btw, why must we go thru job agency everytime? They sux. In fact, I BLACKLIST THEM.

That is their problem then. Usually when you reject a job offer, the employer/recruiter will get dulan and say bad thing about you, as this means more work for them. Last time I turn down an offer, the guy say very disappointed, waste his time, walla walla walla, its up to him, I am not interested. This post has been edited by rexis: Dec 27 2007, 12:53 PM
