u didn't dismantle it??
it's kinda easy to dismantle and then clean
remove ur keys one at a time
remove the screws behind
remove the upper cover or lower cover..depends on the keyboard
remove the circuit board and the plastic thingy (dunno what izit called)
then can clean the whole keyboard already @.@
no need drown the whole thing guar @.@

Of course it works. Why would I post this up if it didn't? All electronic gadgets can be dunked into water without damage provided there's no electricity running through it. As long as the item is switched off, it wont short out.

Can even drop handphone into toilet, just be quick to take it out of water n remove the battery. Then open the case, flush with clean water n make sure to dry it out properly. After that just spray some contact cleaner with anti corrosion additive on the motherboard n it's good to go. Common mistake by most people is they go make a phone call while the phone is wet to see if the phone still working. That's the worst thing to do.

ya i did washed my keyboard once like that...just use hair dryer to dry ur keyboard n it works again....

but what makes u have to soak ur whole keyboard into soap water?

now there. ianho is giving a simple demo on a simple product. don't dunk the laptop the same way. unless ur too rich to do that kind of joke. bear in mind that when the laptop is wet. u need to disamble the whole content to dry it. i mean...including the HDD
so water+noob+laptop=stupid actions doh.gif
