i bought a sceen protector at 4 bucks and it covered the the 3g camera as well
and the joystick in k810i is kinda tough compared to the k750i or the previous k800i.

imo, it'll be depend on luck. some AP set doesn't have a problem at all. likewise, unlucky buyer might bought the 'sometimes lagging' phones from authorised SE disti.

btw, i found a nice way to clean up the dust in between the joystick.
by using the static brush. this way, the dust will stick to the brush instead of being pushed inside. but it need patience though.
another way is by using the soft cloth given for free with any screen protector. this slim and soft cloth makes a good cleaning agent too

noobie question here, i friend of mine who happened to work in maxis center play around with my phone. now the sound quality as in call receiption wasn't as good. the volume will go down to level 1 everytime there is a call in, even though i already set it to 3. but the battery life increse from 3.5 days to 5 days(same usage).
it's not the realtime clock. i suspect it's more on the EFR or something but she doesn't want to tell me. and she can't set it back to the default. will master reset solve the problem?
any idea?

you can use the original converter from SE.
btw, i bought the compatible converter from jalan pasar and paired it with the sony headset... dang! it sounds so good

yepp. it's feel comfy' to the ear cuz' of it's smaller size but slightly lack of bass sound.
not sure of the ori price but jalan pasar cost 18 bucks only. even the silicon case and hard plastic cover cost around 5 bucks only.

btw, i don't mod my k810i. i know there is a better driver for the acoustic sound and camera driver but am satisfied with the the phone. wait till the warranty is over
so far only added kd player and skin, red light torch and my own themes.

sorry to hear that, mate. it's kinda like there is a problem with the contact between the board and the screen. or perhaps, the firmware is corrupted. master reset only works on some lagging and minor problem.
you need to bring it to SE service center and let them rectify the problem.

apparently, the A2DP mode in k810i only works with stereo bluetooth headset and not with mono bluetooth headset.
as for the mono HBH-PV702, it'll only works in receiving and making a call.

i am on R8BA024, which is seem to be the most stable firmware for k810i yet. you can try using the update feature available in the phone>setting>update service. make sure the phone is configure to go to internet.
else, once the necessary SE software installed, connect the phone to the pc/laptop using the data cable and go to SEUS site for the latest update. don't turn off the of disconnect the phone during the update.

exactly! the k800's speaker is louder and the bass was slightly better. wait till the warranty is over and i'll mod my phone kaw2

hpm62 has bigger earplug thus the bass sound are better while the hpm70's earplug is smaller and it fit nicely to the ear, there is a price to pay in term of weaker bass but more of the treble sound.
changing the equalizer setting to mega bass does help a lil'.
btw, the original hpm70 should be around rm38. be careful though cuz' the imitation looks as good as the original.

btw, here is the picture of my jalan pasar converter to 3.5 jack;

this one with the chinamade sony backhang headset but the bass sound is full of umpphhh!

and this one with the standard headset that comes together with the converter. the sound sux
big time but heck, i got it for rm18 only

it's already available in our market since end of january.
the color was really nice. but i has a feeling the color wear off faster. i actually bought the pulse red somewhere in pandan indah before cny. after struggling to open the battery cover, the color peeled off, thus showing the black surface near the battery's cover edge lucky a friend offer to buy it at the same price
oh! the price different with the noble blue is only around rm60.

use se themes manager. while combining the profile as 1 is as simple as abc. converting small video into a .gif, breaking the necessary effect into smaller pieces and creating transparent or glowing effect can be quite challenging.

to the question about those keypad wear off, been using nokia and se. so far i can safely said that k810i keypad was by far among the most reliable. even though i don't really like the keypad responds.
btw, any keypad will 'kong' in no time if we used finger nail to to press

battery life should be around 5 days with normal usage. or 2 days with 100 photos
mine one charging about 1.5 hours, will last for 4 days.

no problem.

sorry, but you can't. i don't really like the keypad too.

recycle toothbrush aren't recommended. it may scratch the surface. or worst, it'll only push the dust inside the phone.
either use a small antistatic brush, or use a piece of soft cloth that comes together with the screen protector.
i found the best way; by using the transparent whit papertype tape which is available from bookstore. just fold and sharpened the other end, rub around the joystick and the dust just stick onto it
don't use the normal transparent tape. the sticky surface will stick to the surface and attract even more dust.

opening the phone may void the warranty.

i personally suggest you to buy the bluetooth stereo headset. the one with exchangable headset.
you can listen to music and receive / make call at the same time.
i'll double check the model . those bluetooth offering from cg telecom is good too.

any of the above will be just nice. it's just a matter of price
