There is Hong Kong and China R8BA024... which 1 r u guys using ?

Mine is R6BC001 which IMHO, good enough for all purpose and intent.
I think I did find a small bug in it though.. unsure if its happening to others.
The "anykey" when answering a call doesn't work even when setup correctly. Anyone else had this problem?

maybe u can use card reader to open your memory card..then create a folder in music folder..paste your midi there..

last week i send in my phone to Berjaya SE service center due to complaint on the setting missing every time i off my phone for few hour, shooting not clear, hard to press the shutter...thn they change my mainboard, camera, shutter button....after tat i off my phone at nite to charge & nex day on it...my setting still available...look like problem solved.

no lah...not to mean tat...but after taking back from SE service center then no more batery & need to charge & need to test on my previous problem oso....so ma off my hp loh....meaning "1 stone 2 birds"

i thought u off it whenever u wanna charge it..haha

although i already save midi in ringtone folder but still the phone still show "no file " when i add item leh.

haha...i really did tat during tat time....but tat not i normally do....
now i even have a new imel number...

4 sure u have new IMEI number because of ur new mainboard lol..

Added on April 17, 2008, 11:39 pmi think u cant add it in ur ur file manager,but must add it through XS++ or FAR manager..put it in sound effect directory..then when u wanna use it just go to add item->>sound effect

It seems that some of the ringtone and video i cant delete... is there anyway to delete those ?

i think it cannot be added by through folder..and i never tried before..but as u can see,midi file format only can be read in sound effect folder..so i assume that the only way to put the midi file is by using FAR manager..

yup,some of the file cannot be deleted because it is predefined item and provided by the firmware..but u can delete it through FAR manager or XS++

i got this version but haven't tried it out as i felt the R1KG is very stable, not sure any different cam driver from R8

im using R8BA024 too...have that delivery report option...AFAIK all firmware version got the option..better u reflash ur phone..there must be a problem with ur firmware...

if still got warranty,u can go to SC and let them fix it for u

LOL.. i bought the phone 2nd hand.. dono which AP company or where is the SC as well
so know any place that is cheap to flash the phone??

u better find out the AP company & SC in case anything goes wrong.

u mean flashing the firmware or the CDA? u can actually flash the firmware yourself thru SEUS. won't take more than 30 minutes usually. updating the firmware itself @ SE Authorised Centre is around RM45, price quoted last year. not sure about those handphone shops.

when u bought it, do the seller provide u the warranty card?how old for your set?

anyway u may try to reflash your firmware by yourself see whether can solve your problem or not..
