Just out of curiousity, if trade in n96 now can get how much ar? Or how much are people selling n96 now, second hand? Don't see much of n96 sales going on under Garage Sales..

BUT for lag (in terms of picture processing time and NGAGE gaming) N95 and n95 8gb wins hands down because both of these phones have a 3D chip and dual processor.

overall this phone is great compare to innov8. myself thinking wanna change to innov8 but when i see the innov8,comparing to n96 innov8 colour is very bad.. not sharp enough... video recording also very weak compare to n96... my previous phone n95 n n95 8gb comparing to them i think n96 is great.. just lag on musc player only.. other thean that overall is good.. reason lag because ram no enough.. if nokia future make new firmware for n96 and increasin standyby ram is 70 ++ or 80++ i think this phone should be n problem at all......

n96 have dual lcd ka? i know that it doesn't

guys i need help here, my dad bought a n96 from china as he is working there now and he gave the phone to me. now i am using maxis and the wap and mms configuration that maxis sent to me is 3g wap and mms which is not supported by my phone, how do i get the non-3g configuration as nowadays maxis sends it automatically by detecting your phone model.

also, i am having trouble with this phone, it automatically turns off once in a while (few times a day). Really hate it lar.. before i update the firmware, it was only few days once but now after i updated my firmware, it becomes few times per day. plus most of the contacts i synced from my pc always wont show on incoming call and messages

i have tried to reinstall the firmware and factory reset and so on.. but it could not help.. how??

Is it a china version nokia n96 or original nokia n96 from china?

If your phone auto shut down its hardware problem. Send it to a handphone and ask them to check and make sure they check on the spot

Hi, I bought my n96 last September in Singapore. This few months I seem to be experiencing the same problem as u. My phone will restart once I receive new sms. And recently it went much worser that it freeze once it receive new sms, then i have to take out the batt and i then when i put it back it don startup immediately, i have to wait about 30 min for it to startup, sometime it even took whole day to startup. Really giving me headache nowadays.

Don mind if u can share with me how did u overcome ur prob. I will be really grateful to u. T

im not sure about dual processor but n96 doesnt have the 3d chip.

price:performance ratio i think n85, n79, n95 and n95 8gb is much better.

i just found some website for dling free software for n96... also with the ** garmin.....

erksss?...pity you with your phone...what firmware currently you used?...have you tried factory or master reset?...does it remains the same?...
up till now mine works fine just like others the battery didn't performance great but normal usage kinda ok...
