what they say is you can't connect 360 , ps3 and pc at the same time because your lcd probably had 1 DVI and 1 VGA input only .
So it's either 360(VGA) - PS3(DVI through adapter) , or 360(VGA) - PC(DVI) , or PC(VGA) - PS3(DVI) , or PC(DVI)- 360(VGA)
Simply said , by the current method , 360 must occupy the VGA port and PS3 occupy DVI port . So you have to interchange the cable if you wanna use PC , which is quite tedious as you need to plug in-out the cable everytime you wanna use the PC .
There might be other method though but that's beyond me .
BTW , when you use HDMI -> DVI adapter , the audio will lost because DVI doesn't carries audio signal like HDMI does . So what you can do is using the conventional yellow/red/white cable , and use the red/white cable for audio only , or if you have speaker that support digital input , then use the digital output from ps3 .
If all fail , visit GH la , see how they plug their ps3
