Sure, just like 256mb wasn't enough for Windows XP when it comes out. An OS is released to take advantages of current hardwares capabilities, but sadly, dumb-tards didn't want to accept it and still living in the past rolleyes.gif

The problem is most of us wouldn't want to fork buying some next-generation hardware. It takes time to convince people , hopefully Windows 7 can still maintain as the same hardware requirement as Vista. Well , lets see how the sales would be for Windows 7. Hopefully it isn't launched in wrong time

Oh lord

I dont know what the heck they have done to Windows 7 but its certainly way faster then Vista. Vista seriously sucks to the max now (Its an failure for Microsoft just like Windows Me. I guess it was a placeholder for Windows 7 after all)

I am running Windows 7 on my UMPC - Fujitsu U1010 - 800Mhz Intel A110 (pre-atom) , 1GB DDR2 RAM and 30GB 4200rpm drive. It runs blazing fast , no lags !

Good job Microsoft , for once !

A bug or what?

Oh really ? Vista Beta (Build ~5xxx) was faster. I think I need a faster PC that means. It was soo freaking slow , crashes a lot and lots and lots of compatibility issues. However back in its early stages , (2000 , etc) - it was faster then XP. Then the bloatware started to kick in. Now , its fast again , just hope they maintain it. So far its not that bad for a beta build

Personally I think Windows 7 Beta > Vista Beta

Windows 7 has this what do you call touch screen function thingy, does that work only on a "special" monitors?

To be honest , its nothing great

I am using it on my UMPC , it has a touchscreen. Pretty much its the same as Vista. Thats all , nothing fancy. I don't know why people keep on saying this new touch stuff and so on , for me. Its nothing great. Its the same ol' thing for touch.

If you're talking about Multitouch , I am not too sure about that. As for my touch screen device , its nothing fancy. I can do most stuff without the need of keyboard and mouse anyway !

One thing i noticed that its easier if u wanna resize a window , jsut drag it to the hotspots and voila it does it for you. Thats the only handy thing which I've found

Other then that , nothing great and there is no big thing to brag about Touch related stuff
