  i guess i'm d only fan of tokyo friends huh it's a great show la, just slightly different from the normal japanese shows. the movie was slightly disappointing though, with the first half a recap of the drama.

started to watch saito-san. very interesting, hehe

anyway i  feel tat the 2nd season is not as good as the first one

iryu i havent watch only got season 2
since didnt watch season 1 then no meaning for watching season 2 ~
feel will get confuse after watch season 2 ~

Just manage to catch Bara no nai Hanaya 1st episode
The plot was simple enough but it can get very thick too which i am expecting to happen in the future episodes.
Still, my first impression of this drama is that the ending theme is nice
Great cast, a great story, nice music background & Takeuchi Yuko. What else is missing eh?!
Btw, is the drama the highest rated drama of the season?

is there any way I can check for viewership ratings for a japanese or korean drama? Its easier to know which to buy

Better not trust those viewership ratings (especially from Kanto) and hypes too much. Japanese and the media tend to overlook or overhype certain titles. For example this season's Edison no haha and One pound gospel, even before the shows started both titles has a lot of publicity from many websites but when it start showing, honestly it was disappointing and I felt like wasting 6 hours of my time on this junk while Bara no nai hanaya was totally off my radar until jayhan recommended it.
