except they have no real time trading on american stocks

I am using HLB too. With them since 2006 when I shift from OSK. Happy with them so far. I like HLB because they offer PDA trading as well at no additional charge. smile.gif

There are 3-4 people handling the call. So, you won't have probblem with it. The best thing is, the brokerage fee is the same as online.

HwangDWS won't let me trade online as they feel that I'm 'underaged' (I'm 19), do other investments banks have such a policy? I'm interested in moving to Jupiter Securities.

No need people to recommend. Just call and make an appointment with the dealer to open the account. Min brokerage fee is RM12 or 0.42% whichever is higher. For intraday transaction, it is 0.1% only. biggrin.gif

This one better than HLe. HLe only allow buying limit of 20k if you have 10k in your trading account.

E.g.: if you have RM10,000 in your trading account, then your trading account will have RM30,000 buying limit.

0.1% for intraday trading, 0.21% for 100k and above.
0.42% for below 100k if no wrong.
This is normal rates charge by them.

You do not need anyone to recommend you.

For intraday trading. Most company charge 0.1% but is this still subject to RM 12 whichever is higher.
