QUOTE(zamans98 @ Sep 16 2009, 10:04 PM) depends, for me, any price is a good price, coz I'm buying in batches, not intra-day trade or short day trade. It meant for long-term. So, slowly accumulate it. i know why there're forumers went to http://www.mbtrading.com/ and informed that they have to mailed the original hardcopy to MB Trading. They chose Foreign Classification account type.Next week planning to get more C if it breach 4.00 Which account type you choose, zaman? This post has been edited by debbieyss: Sep 16 2009, 10:58 PM |

QUOTE(zamans98 @ Sep 17 2009, 11:34 PM) done, send them the signed copy of the Margin Agreement. As usual, it will take them 3 days to upgrade. So, next week I can go short on some counters. Margin Agreement is something for Futures Trading? Or it is for shares trading? What's the purpose to go for Margin Agreement? |

QUOTE(zamans98 @ Sep 18 2009, 08:47 AM) According to account executives in MBtrading, if you wanna short a counter, your account should be Margin base, not cash base. I see...This margin thingy is the same like our local broker. You put cash 5000, you broker give you leverage 1:2 (normally) so you can trade 10,000. Anyway, no harm in getting it. As long you buy within your "cash" and don't go "contra" . Same thing like local market. So means if you put cash 5000, with the margin agreement you can trade 10,000, but make sure the stocks rise and help you earn money so you can allocate another 5000? |

I wonder if US' Futures has more fun that CI futures?
Supposingly today's gonna fly high but it stays stastic and fluctuating between 2 points only. I mean, yesterday DJ shoot up high, there should be no reason for CI to stay stastic. If want to shoot up high, just shoot; else just drop down fast as it can. Moving like a turtle, hard to trade..... |

So, yesterday's DJ rose about 1.4%, we expect CI Futures does the same today. But the indeces are just fluctuating between 2 points only, and it's moving like a turtle.
I wonder how does US futures work? The speed? Direction sense? I mean, if CI wants to fly up high, just fly in a fast speed possible; if to fall down, just fall as it likes, in fast speed. Moving in a turtle speed makes us hard to justify if it's going down or up. If we know CI 100% follows DJ, thing will be easier but CI doesn't go align with US sometimes. Frustrated. |

QUOTE(danmooncake @ Oct 7 2009, 12:28 AM) Damn... my off and on crappy internet been difficult for me to day trade. Just playing swing trading now. mooncake, mind to explain further?Bought some FAS at 70 last Friday, still holding on for now. I'll unload 'em when it is around 85/86 maybe another day or so. As mentioned on Sept 23rd, this market won't crap out due to Fed going cheap on Dollar. Go long for now. Be ready to unload some batch of C at close to 4.9 or 5.0 for swing trade .. Why is it because Fed going cheap on Dollar and that's why the market won't crap out for the moment? I don't understand... |

How you guys see the profit taking taking over, market is weakening?
From which respect do you judge the market's condition besides its futures status? Added on October 9, 2009, 10:32 pmAnd how do you guys tell that buying power turns weaker now? This post has been edited by debbieyss: Oct 9 2009, 10:32 PM |
