no bro, im comparing based on ratio. Then what do u think of value rams? i believe 70-80% of computers in the world are using them, thats alot dont you think? yet, ive seen more crucial RMAs than value rams.
which value ram are u talking about?

if u want to change divider, try set refresh cycle to higher latency

lol ericz, thats the symptom many of people using crucials are having. THey wont just die on you, suddenly they will need ALOT of voltage to run.
*
not only crucial. other ram will also behave like that... especially micron chips. why? because they feed too much current. not voltage...but current.

reduce the drivestrength that should reduce the risk.

high drivestrength = ram killer

but not all motherboard has drivestrength setting in the bios, so u have to use 3rd party tool like systool or something.

why it's always crucial? because everybody buy crucial... easy to find at garage/bulk section. tell me how many ppl bother to buy corsair or ocz nowadays tongue.gif

still can't figure out why ddr2 1000 is bootable with 2.25v & 2.45v but not 2.35v...  vmad.gif

did u check what's the actual value for 2.35v in bios?

My motherboard slightly overvolts. To encounter this I had to use SysTool to reduce the VID to 1.175V so that the board will feed about 1.20V to the processor. Now the default voltage is actually 1.175V.

Everything looked fine in Windows, so I just ramp up the clockspeed using ClockGen... so easy and the system doesn't freeze!

Rebooted. Set the DDR2 divider to DDR2-800 setting and increased Vdimm.

temp is high already.... around 56~57'C shown by CoreTemp

i guess CM HyperTX is not very efficient already...although design is so similar to Xigmatek
